¿What is the most romantic thing you have ever done for someone. Who was it? ¿ what did you do and how was it received?
My romance with my partner started shortly before the pandemic, so much of our relationship was in confinement, but it's nothing to complain about, it was a great time that helped us prepare for what we wanted as a couple, but we hadn't had the opportunity to take a trip, it was something we needed; Our 3rd anniversary was approaching and being honest, talking about details and romantic surprises, he has always been the most detailed, for that reason I had to do something big, that would remember him for the rest of his life, something that neither of us had done before; he always told me that he loves the cold weather, that he would like to spend a few days in a cool and very natural place, so I said to myself, that will be the something I will do for him, I want to see him happy, enjoy and be at peace.
At work I told a friend about it, and he told me "I am from CARIPE", it is a place like the one he describes; I asked for my working vacations and they approved them, arriving home I told my partner the news, and immediately I told him, "get ready we are going next week on a trip to the beach", he was happy but not so much, he tried to hide his dissatisfaction, because he is not so beachy, I told him I will pay for the trip, so it is the beach; something cruel but I wanted it to be a surprise to go to CARIPE.
The day came when we arrived at the passenger terminal, I told him "my love we will go to CARIPE", and he was very surprised, he did not believe it, we got on the bus, and yet he kept repeating the same question over and over again, "is it serious", the ride was long but it was something we both enjoyed, and he kept asking me things about the trip, like since when I was planning it, why that decision and things like that.
Upon arriving and feeling that cold, seeing that beautiful nature, he told me "thank you for this surprise, I will never forget that you stopped going to a beach, to please me", were two days where I saw him very happy, very quiet, enjoying all that beautiful and recreational space, I loved seeing him like that, it was a great anniversary gift that I could give him with love, of course I also enjoyed it, it was not only for him, but it all originated because he talked to me a lot about that place he would like to be and hoped that someday it would happen.
It's worth mentioning that I'm already about to leave for vacation and I'm wondering, will there be a surprise this year? 😄
