So, I am sitting here trying to use my laptop and the little kitten that we had rescued not too long ago does not want me to do any work tonight. Every time I try to do anything, there she is jumping or climbing in front of whatever it is. I try to use the computer; oops here she comes climbing up to sit on my chest. I try to drink my coffee; well there she is again trying to climb into my coffee mug. I have my plate of food ready for dinner, here she comes meowing all the way across the floor as if she is saying, “hey I see that, are you going to share with me?”
She decided since she couldn't type anything tonight that she would curl up on me and take a nap. Climbing across me and blocking my laptop screen a few times until she finally settles down on my arm. This makes it a little tough to try and type at the moment.
If you have a kitten or a cat, then you know how much joy and fun they can be. With their own little unique personalities they are a blast sometimes. Especially when they hear or see something moving like my keys hanging on my belt loop or a pen that I drop. She will lunge up at my keys when I walk in the door because they make noises. As for a pen or anything we happen to drop onto the floor, she will start swatting at it and trying to throw it across the floor. It’s fun to watch the things she comes up with.
Well nap time is over now, that was a quick nap. She gives new meaning to catnap. She has moved on to her next activity. As I am trying to type this post, she is sitting on my legs with her head peeking over top of my laptop screen to look at me. She is waiting for me to go to bed and she keeps watching and following me every time I go into another room.
She is getting a little impatient with me now, I guess because I am not typing fast enough for her. She has been so patient up until now so I will say goodnight fellow steemians. Freddie says goodnight too. :)
