Motivation.. motivation is everything. When a socialist comes around and wants to confiscate your funds for their lifestyle, just remind them what personal property and guns are for. Also when your personal work and funds are confiscated you loose motivation.

Steem is 0.16 cents. It would be heartbreaking if I had bought in at $7.00, or even $11.00. Those that think it will go to the moon are really full of hope and faith. I personally am not invested heavily and don't focus on the price but rather blogging, social connections, and perhaps learning something new.

The internet is a wonderful thing. We can interact and learn from different cultures all over the world without leaving our chair. Our motivation might stop us from continuing certain practices if it economical based. I sure as hell would curse Steem if I had bought in at such high prices. However if you did some research and saw a lot of the crony-behavior that goes on, it probably wouldn't be much of a good idea. I have heard rumblings of Steemit Inc. discontinuing their practise of selling their STEEM on the market. I guess that's a good thing for price 'stabilization'; but will that bring in more users? Will that stop the crony-behavior?

If you are 'stuck' in an investment that you lost in you can either completely give up and sell at the low and never look back, or you can change what motivates you and at least psychologically (not economically) find another purpose for your invested time. I for one have a lot to say, but would prefer to keep my opinions anonymous and off the msm sites like facebook or instagram. It's not just about giving them free analytics, it's about a personal touch of freedom. My privacy is mine and G-ds. Nobody should be peering into my world; even though 'they' probably know all about me already. At least in some way I get to keep my personal identity (to a degree).

In any case I am just trying to highlight how we can all turn lemons into lemonade. Sometimes our thoughts bring us into the mud; and sometimes when we change those thoughts circumstances are not as bad as they seem. I get pretty depressed over things out of my control; but if I change what I believe the outcome to something positive things may in fact not be as bad as they really are.

Here is your Friday motivation. Lower prices can mean so many different things. The glass can truly be half empty or half full. Let's all go in on it being Half Full!
