Lady Ghost Rider
One of my favourite people I've worked with is a young lady called Louise. Not only does she model well, but her body paints are awesome. Especially when she does them on herself. To me, actually painting somebody would be a struggle, but to paint yourself just leaves me gobsmacked. She is such a creative young lady, as well as painting, and modeling she also creates some wonderful props. This first image(Lady Ghost Rider) was shot at my studio. A friend came along to shoot, and brought his friend along who brought in his Indian motorbike. (I also took a lot of shots just of the bike, such a beautiful machine).
Clown Princess
This styling is a "Louise classic". She has done this kind of styling on a number of people I have photographed. All different, but based on a similar theme.
Blue Orc
This Orc, is possibly one of my faves, not only because it is a great theme, beautifully realised, but because of the events of the night. Louise did the majority of the body paint at home before coming to the studio for the shoot. Apparently, she was stationary at traffic lights when an old lady pulled up in the lane next to her. She turned to look at Louise (in costume) and stalled her car. And when Louise left the studio, she went to Tesco (for those not in the UK, Tesco is a big supermarket chain, a bit like Walmart or Carrefour). She put on a long coat and then went to get groceries still in her full body paint. I would have given my right arm to see the reactions.
Scary Mermaid
And finally, the mermaid. We got far more images than I will ever use on this shoot, trying out different ideas. I hope you enjoyed the images. Sadly (for me and my photographer friends) Louise is currently not working in the industry at the moment as she now has (happily) two young children. But such a creative mind.
