Been awhile since I had a couple of feathered friends to post. These few images were taken on a couple of different day.
Ah yes, the sun is sort of shining and it is a nice day and the fish are swimming and we have friends to play with, yes I am in the mood to groove, so "Put your Right foot in and shake it all about"
Here is a link to the Hokey Pokey Song if you really want to hear it. The ravens were having some fun in the sun, There was even one pretending to be a movie star, doing his best to imitate the Raven in the Steven King Movie the Stand, but well the picture did not come out very well. But we did have the little guy out front trying to decide between break dancing and hokey pokey dancing, it looks like Hokey Pokey won out.
Yesterday, we went to out to get some pictures, we got lucky. This guy, looked straight at me as if to say, "What you think only Humans like picnics, I'll have you know I happen to like visiting picnic areas. You think Yogi Bear is the only one that likes Picnic Baskets?"
After that accusatory/curious look from him he turned back to what he was doing, looking for the goodies. He hung around the picnic table for a little bit then decide to leave. This I think was the second closest I ever got to an eagle on the ground. He was only about 25 feet or so away.
Now something totally not related to featheredfriday, although our feathered friends do love these things. I have never taken an up the pole shot before, so I thought it was high time I did. You just never know when there may be a need for a look up the pole picture. Granted if the need ever was there it would not be hard to go and get one, but the odds are pretty good that number one it is going to be dark when you need the picture, or, it is going to be raining, or it is going to be both. So here is my contribution to a looking up photo.
Okay I think that pretty much does it. The below links to my feed, and post from those that I follow.
