Construction is a process, and repair is a state (visual story of 16 photos)
These two photos differ only in the time they were taken. The first one was taken in the morning and I practically did not correct it.
The second one was taken the night before. I had to work with light, shadows, sharpness to make the photo readable.
First, I will show you a series of evening shots. This will be more consistent. We came to visit a friend who lives on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. This is a very beautiful place among the pine forest on the shore. However, there is little left of this forest.
Previously, this territory belonged to the children's pioneer camp. There were many such children's summer recreation centers on the coast. But when the Soviet Union was destroyed, wild times came. The camp was closed, the land was sold several times to different hands. Corruption and greed of individuals have led to the fact that now this land is being sold in parts for private development.
Land here is expensive and the closer to the shore of the bay, the more expensive. Nevertheless, there were many people who bought land here and started building houses for themselves.
We arrived in the evening, the sky was covered with a veil of clouds and we just walked along the roads of this settlement. A year ago, only a few houses stood here. Now it looks like this.
As you can see, construction is in full swing.
Someone builds from wood, there are foam-concrete houses, there are brick houses. Some build a small house first, and then build something huge next to it. Everyone has their own tactics, strategy and possibilities of the family budget. Some are going to live here, others - to come to rest.
It will be interesting to look at all this in the summer.
