Hello everyone, today I am on a ferry from Bostanlı to Konak. This is a city journey that takes about 20 minutes. I try to make this journey often because it gives me peace. It may be so because it is a sweet subject I will tell today. Every time I go out, as someone who tends to drink alcohol, who prefers to eat rice pudding in classical dessert shops. I learnt that there is a culture called eating dessert. 😂
Gusto is a small dessert shop in the middle of a bar and a coffee shop on a street full of bars in Bostanlı. We entered this place randomly. While I was heading towards the bar across the street, my girlfriend told me that she was craving for dessert, so we went here.
I don't know the names of the desserts because I don't have a dessert culture. I eat something with milk chocolate, so I was thinking that there must be something. When we went to the cupboard to choose dessert, I pointed to the Souffle and said, "Let's have this one." 😂 "One Souffle" and my girlfriend wanted "Strawberry Magnolia". Until the desserts arrived, I was very annoyed about how to spell Magnolia. 😂
Even though we ordered different desserts, we ate them together. I may have had soufflé before. I'm not sure. But I had Magnolia for the first time. Both desserts were very good. The fluidity and not heavy taste of the Souffle, which they heated before bringing it, and the strawberry taste of the Magnolia went very well together.
Since we love the desserts here, we called a friend of ours who is not far from this region and loves desserts very much. When she said that the dessert was very good, she came with his bathrobe. 😂 I think they just made these coats. I hadn't seen them before, they were called blanket sweaters or coats. For people who are very cold, they are sold in one size so that other coats and coats can be worn underneath.
Even though my friend told me all this information, I continued my childish teasing like, "How can you go out with a blanket, why did you come in a bathrobe?" 😂 Since she didn't go to the section where the desserts were available, the waiter offered her "Magnolia with pumpkin", which he said only they made. But she thought that the words pumpkin and magnolia were incompatible and ordered soufflé.
We chose this place as our first dessert shop with the approval of our friend who understands dessert and his mischievous pose showing that he liked it. 😂 Maybe we will improve ourselves later. Although my mind is still on Güllaç dessert. 😂 I may make Güllaç again tonight. 😂 Eat dessert and stay happy, friends...

Herkese selamlar, bugün Bostanlı’dan Konak’a giden bir vapurdayım. Bu yaklaşık 20 dk süren bir şehir içi yolculuk. Bu yolculuğu sık sık yapmaya çalışıyorum. Çünkü bana huzur veriyor. Bugün anlatacağım tatlı bir konu olduğu için de öyle olabilir. Dışarı her çıktığımda, alkole meyleden, klasik tatlıcılarda, sütlaç yemeyi tercih eden birisi olarak. Tatlı yemek diye bir kültür olduğunu öğrendim. 😂
Gusto, Bostanlı’da, Barlar sokağına yakın, mekanlarla dolu bir caddenin üzerinde, bir bar ve bir de kahvecinin ortasında, küçük bir tatlıcı. Biz buraya rastgele girdik. Ben, karşıdaki bara doğru yönümü belirlemişken, kız arkadaşım, canının tatlı çektiğini söyleyince, buraya girdik.
Tatlı kültürüm olmadığı için tatlıların isimlerini de bilmiyorum. Sütlü çikolatalı bir şey yerim ben de, illa ki vardır diye düşünüyordum. Tatlı seçmek için dolabın yanına gittiğimizde, Sufle’yi gösterip, şundan olsun dedim. 😂 “Bir tane Sufle”, kız arkadaşım da “Çilekli Magnolia” istedi. Ben tatlılar gelene kadar Manolya mıydı o, nasıl yazılıyor diye baya uyuzluk ettim. 😂
Farklı tatlılar söylesek de ikisini birlikte yedik. Daha önce Sufle yemiş olabilirim. Emin değilim. Fakat ilk defa Magnolia yedim. Her iki tatlı da çok güzeldi. Getirmeden önce ısıttıkları Sufle’nin akışkanlığı ve ağır olmayan - benim tatlıda en çok korktuğum konu - tadıyla, Magnolia’nın çilekli tadı birlikte çok iyi gitti.
Buranın tatlılarını çok sevdiğimiz için, bu bölgeye çok da uzak olmayan ve tatlıları çok seven bir arkadaşımızı çağırdık. O da tatlısı çok güzel deyince bornozuyla birlikte gelmiş. 😂 Bu kabanları yeni yapmışlar sanırım. Ben daha önce görmemiştim. İsmi battaniye kazak ya da mont diye geçiyormuş. Çok üşüyen insanlar için, altına başka montlar ve kabanlar da giyinebilinsin diye, tek beden olarak satılıyormuş.
Arkadaşım tüm bu bilgileri bana anlatsa da, battaniyeyle sokağa mı çıkılır, bornozla niye geldin gibi, çocukça takılmalarıma devam ettim. 😂 Tatlı seçmek için, çeşitlerin bulunduğu kısma gitmediği için, garson, ona sadece kendilerinin yaptığını söylediği, “Kabaklı Magnolia” önerdi. Fakat Kabak ve Magnolia kelimelerinin uyumsuz olduğunu düşünüp, Sufle sipariş etti.
Tatlıdan anlayan arkadaşımızın da onayı ve beğendiğini gösteren, muzip pozuyla, ilk tatlıcımız olarak burayı seçtik. 😂 Belki daha sonra kendimizi geliştiririz. Gerçi benim aklım hala Güllaç tatlısında. 😂 Bu akşam gene Güllaç yapabilirim. 😂 Tatlı yiyip, mutlu kalın dostlar…
