Happy October, or is it Uptober as it is being called on web3 twitter? Now we are officially in the last quarter of the year.
The month of September flew by so fast, It still feels like yesterday when I said happy new month to my friends and family. In fact, the whole Q3 was a breeze, from exams to massive and small wins, some disappointments, lots of learning and a lot more. Now taking the microscope even further back I look at the first three quarters of the year. If I was told this was how the year would pan out I wouldn't believe it.
The year has been unique. Lots and lots of things have happened but I'll save that for my end of the year post. However, the one thing I will talk about is my mentality shift from the start of the year till now. This year I started to crave and really work towards greater things. Obviously, explanations won't do justice to this I have to "show workings", workings are in the incubation stage, but I don't know how to explain the feeling I get when I think about my mentality at the start of the year and now. Very huge contrast, and it's a good one. In some ways, because of this, my activity on the hive blockchain has reduced a bit (especially posting wise), but It doesn't bother me as much as it used to because I'm getting comfortable with the idea of writing on hive as a hobby (This way I can take more time to build some post ideas I really like).
Anyways, enough talk about how the first 3 quarters have been, let me get to my main reason for writing this post. As we all know, the first day of every month is hive power up day. As always I participated this month. I powered up 15 hive and now my Hive power is 5,012.
To think this was the hive power I was to end last year with. I have stopped keeping hive power goals, however. Now I'm just going with the flow and see how high I can take my hive power. I also no longer have a significant amount in HBD savings anymore. Since the APR was reduced to 15% I figured I'd just YOLO into hive as there's good upside potential in the coming months. Let's see how that pans out. So yeah, that has been my powerup. Wishing you a great Q4, my fingers are crossed it'll be one we won't forget (for good, of course, 馃榿)
