This one goes out to the Kids at Sankofa Underground North Academy of Minneapolis

The Kids were put down
Treated like clowns
Just because they were brown
But they came back around
Picked em' up from the ground
Now I show em' around
Watch em' now smile
Wiped away tears and frowns
You boys were once Kings
And you girls were once Queens
Now listen to me
And learn your lost history
You may feel beaten down
You mustn't look down
You got royal blood
So don't feel stuck in the mud
Fill that hole in your heart
With Learning and Love
And never forget
Where you come from
