I still feel the butterflies in my belly when I think of you
Your laughter still echoes in my head
When I close my eyes
The image of you smiling and talking is all I can see
The smell of your cologne so alluring
I still sleep in your shirt at night
So I could be alitle close to you
Your shy smile and childish demeanor
The way you walk and feel nothing matters
How your eyes light up when I bring you a cup of coffee
But holds so much sadness when
You are unable to find your favorite pair of socks
I still feel your pain
And smile at those moments that made you happy
Everytime I walk by you
It's a constant conflict between my pride and feelings
Should I say or just walk away
But my pride always win
I guess our journey has come to an end
A heartbreaking end
You left but why didn't you take your memories with you
I will just have to love you from afar
And cherish the love in my heart
The memories of you
Hunt my day
And disturbs my sleep at night
Discovered it wasn't meant to be
But I can be in love with you and not stay with you
