Many times we go on these really difficult diets where we don't get to eat anything yummy and all we eat are vegetables and we basically starve ourselves. You feel hungry all the time and it makes you cranky and you feel weak and irritable. The most annoying part is when you stand on the scale to weigh yourself and realize that all that starving was for nothing. Nothing has changed and it even could've got worst.
Likewise, we exercise a lot and in all the free time we have. You constantly going to the gym and working out. You do exercises that are so challenging, using up all of your energy and making you so tired to find out that it was all that working out for nothing. You stand on the scale to weigh yourself and see no results. It is the most annoying feeling in the world. Sometimes after all the hard work, we even gain instead of losing!
Well, from what I've discovered is that you can not work out and continue eating junk food all the time and you can not starve yourself but don't even bother exercising. Exercise and diet go hand in hand. You can't only chose one. You have to exercise and diet at the same time. When you talk about diet, it doesn't mean that you should starve yourself. You should not let yourself feel hunger and stop yourself form eating delicious treats completely. Now and then, have a treat. However, eating healthy is so important, not even just for losing weight.
When it comes to dieting, eating healthy can be fun! There's lots of delicious and nutritious meals and ideas. When you are hungry, eat!! Eat the right things of course. Instead of a chocolate, have a health bar. Instead of a packet of chips, have nuts. There's always a healthier alternative. Don't skip meals. Eat little snacks throughout the day so that you won't have one heavy meal.
As for the exercise part, with eating healthy, you should exercise regularly. Exercise is more effective when you do it regularly at the same time each day. Try simple exercises and do them at the same time everyday. You don't have to do a lot of exercise, start at a slow pace. After every week or now and then, increase your time limit or your level of difficulty in the exercise you have chosen to do. Remember to be regular, even if its a 15 minute run each day and from there you can improvise.
If you want to lose weight, eat the right things and don't starve yourself and exercise regularly. You won't go wrong. Results can't be seen immediately. Everything takes time, sometimes you need to try and be patient. Don't expect instant or immediate results.
