I think we're finally approaching that time of the year when the rainy season is about to begin. It's a season that I have mixed feelings about because there are things I enjoy about it, but there are also moments when I wish the rain would just stop.
One thing I don't particularly enjoy is going outside when it's raining. I don't like getting wet, especially when I have plans to go for my usual walk around the garden. Sometimes, the rain can be quite inconvenient because it prevents me from doing the outdoor activities that I enjoy.
However, there are also plenty of reasons why I appreciate this season. The weather becomes cooler, and the breeze feels refreshing compared to the warm days we've been experiencing lately. I think that's one of the best things about the rainy season.
Another reason is photography. Whenever the rain stops, I get excited to see the water droplets resting on the leaves and plants. These tiny droplets make ordinary plants look more interesting, especially when captured up close.
For today's photos, I focused on the droplets, the patterns of the leaves, and the rough texture of a tree branch. Of course, I converted everything into black and white because I wanted to highlight the contrast between the smooth surfaces, the reflective droplets, and the darker surroundings.
I guess every season has something beautiful to offer, even when it comes with a few inconveniences. We just need to appreciate the good things that come along with it.
I'm looking forward to capturing more interesting photos as the rainy season approaches.
I hope you enjoy the photos that I'm sharing today.
Have a good day ahead!
