I am pleased that today I got out for a #Parkrun at my local Oak Hill event. It was their 531st event and they had 262 Park runners.

It was my first event since my health issues in December and my vision isn't great so I had to be careful not to bump into other runners. My wife had to drive me there as I can't drive at the moment until my vision improves.

So I started further back in the pack then I usually do whichngave me a slow start. I was fine with that, I just wanted to complete rather than compete.

It was quite cold out but at least it wasn't freezing. I had to take my jacket off after the first lap, you soon heat up even in the cold weather.

I ended up finishing in slightly over 28 min which is great considering where I was a few weeks ago. I came 12th in my age category.

Great run. Thanks #Parkrun πŸ‘
