I had some weekend chores to do in the morning. First, I walked to the High Street for a hair cut and then after walking home again, I went shopping in the big supermarket.
In the late afternoon, since it was a lovely day, I went for a hike with my son. We covered many local footpaths, some of which are difficult to use at this time of year because of the mud. The sun from the last few days dried out the paths a bit but they were still quite muddy in places.
There was one part that was too boggy to pass and we had to find an alternative way round.
As the sun came lower innthe sky and set there were some great opportunities for photos.
