Process in pictures - Proceso en imágenes
The subject of time is one of the many subjects that fascinate me because of its relativity and the significance of timelines. Together with the subject of the fractal world and in conjunction they form a storm of information.
That's why I love to make designs that contain clocks, because of the value of time, both the time we perceive and the time we don't perceive. There are time intervals in which a gap opens with another line and if we are attentive we can receive vital information, with the speed of lightning.
The design was made with 7 images and 19 layers in Photoshop.
I built the background with three of the images, clouds, storm and sea.
On the clouds I placed the image of the storm or lightning in four layers with fusions focal light, darken, intense light and superimpose and then the image of the sea with fusion superimpose.
I worked on the image of the woman's face emphasising her eyes, her face very close. I arranged it in several layers, erasing the background, with fusions of darker colour, focal light, soft light and normal light in a layer where I only placed one eye.
I put the image of the fractal to one side with luminosity blending and then I worked the image of the second fractal on the face in different layers with different scales and positions. The fusions used were focal light, strong light, soft light.
Finally I put part of the pendulum clock over an eye in two layers with darker and lighter colour fusions.
The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

El tema del tiempo es uno de los tantos temas que me fascinan por su relatividad y por lo que significan las líneas temporales. Junto a ello el tema del mundo fractal y en conjunción forman una tormenta de información.
Por ello es que me encanta hacer diseños que contengan relojes, por lo valioso del tiempo tanto el que percibimos como el que no. Hay intervalos temporales en los que se abre una brecha con otra línea y que si estamos atentos podemos recibir información vital, con la velocidad de un rayo.
El diseño lo realicé con 7 imágenes y en 19 capas dentro del Photoshop.
El fondo lo construí con tres de las imágenes, nubes, tormenta y mar.
Sobre las nubles coloqué la imagen de la tormenta o rayos en cuatro capas con fusiones luz focal, oscurecer, luz intensa y superponer y luego la imagen del mar con fusión superponer.
Trabajé la imagen del rostro de la mujer haciendo hincapié en sus ojos, su rostro bien cercano. Lo dispuse en varias capas, borrando el fondo, con fusiones color más oscuro, luz focal, luz suave y normal en una capa donde sólo coloqué un ojo.
Puse la imagen del fractal a un lado con fusión de luminosidad y luego trabajé la imagen del segundo fractal sobre el rostro en distintas capas con distintas escalas y posiciones. Las fusiones usadas fueron luz focal, luz fuerte, luz suave.
Finalmente puse parte del reloj de péndulo sobre un ojo en dos capas con fusiones color más oscuro y color más claro.
La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
