In this post I Bring forth more means of safety within the cyrptocurrency-sphere to help raise awareness
The topic again is ethereum and how you should be careful with it.
Many new comers to cryptocurrency followed the hype just to make money, others "the hacker community has been using this technology to transfer wealth for a while".
Now that it's out of the bag people ! you are rushing in without concern and I fear that you will lose your money.
If you follow ethereum's campaign you would realized it is not decentralized as they made the decision long ago to make it a centralized decentralized blockchain program that they can edit whenever they want.
No profound system should run on faith in man as man can be currupted.
Ethereum has already fell to curruption broken the rules of the blockchain to save face by changing the code structure to reverse a payment to get the $150 million back after the DAO attack because they made a flaw in the design of the DAO. This is something that bitcoin's blockchain would never allow as it simply cannot be done. NOBODY can edit bitcoin's structure to reverse a bitcoin payment.
This is not a drill. "I repeat" This is not a drill.
Now ask yourselves If a payment can be reversed. What makes you think that Ether in your Ether wallets are secure ?
Vitalik Buterin the lead dev on the current ethereum team said it him self they will be able to control everything in the ethereum blockchain to their liking "the governing body". Here it is from the horse's mouth youtube link
The fact Bitcoin is popular and safe is because NOBODY can touch your bitcoin. the same doesn't go for ethereum obviously.
Put your trust in a system that you evaluated on your own and not in what was said by another man. This way when you trust the system you trust yourself. And that is the only person you need to trust.
If you care for the security of your wealth should consider using Ethereum classic as the team is not at all giving in to be compramised.
