Happy day, my dear knitting friends! I hope you are all well, in good health, and feeling great. For this Monday knitting session, I want to share a project I finished this weekend.
In July, I started knitting a new granny square pattern with sunflowers, and at that point, all I knew was that I liked the motif and wanted to see how it turned out. At that time, I shared some of those granny squares with you in this post. I remember that I still didn't have a clear destination for them; I simply let myself be carried away by the rhythm of knitting, enjoying the process, seeing how each little square was slowly taking shape.馃尰馃Ф
I kept knitting, knitting, and accumulating grannies. One day I decided to give them a better finish, so I bought a granny blocker. It was a total change: each piece was perfectly square, with aligned edges and a much nicer appearance. That detail encouraged me even more to do a special project.馃尰

En julio comenc茅 a tejer un nuevo modelo de grannys con girasoles y en ese momento, lo 煤nico que sab铆a era que me gustaba el motivo y quer铆a probar c贸mo quedaba. En esa oportunidad, les compart铆 algunos de esos grannys en esta publicaci贸n. Recuerdo que todav铆a no ten铆a un destino claro para ellos, simplemente me dej茅 llevar por el ritmo del tejido, disfrutando del proceso, de ver c贸mo poco a poco iba tomando forma cada cuadrito.馃尰馃Ф
Segu铆 tejiendo, tejiendo y acumulando grannys. Un d铆a decid铆 darles un mejor acabado, as铆 que me compr茅 un bloqueador de grannys. Fue un cambio total: cada pieza qued贸 perfectamente cuadrada, con sus bordes alineados y una presencia mucho m谩s bonita. Ese detalle me anim贸 a煤n m谩s a hacer un proyecto especial.馃尰
At that point, I began to visualize what I wanted to do with them. And the idea became clear: a little bag. From there, I began to organize how I was going to put it together, measure it, and calculate how many more granny squares I needed. A few days ago, I started joining the pieces together, and it was exciting to see what I had been imagining become something real.馃挄
In total, there were thirteen granny squares. Each one was crocheted with love, patience, and enthusiasm. This weekend, I finally finished putting them together, and the result is this springtime little bag that I am very happy to show you today. I see it finished, and I love it. I am thrilled to think that such a beautiful and practical piece emerged from a few squares that had no definite purpose.馃尰馃Ф
En ese punto empec茅 a visualizar lo que quer铆a hacer con ellos. Y la idea apareci贸 clara: un bolsito. Desde ah铆 comenc茅 a organizar c贸mo lo iba a armar, a medir, a calcular cu谩ntos grannys m谩s necesitaba. Hace unos d铆as arranqu茅 con la uni贸n de las piezas y fue emocionante ver c贸mo lo que hab铆a estado imaginando se transformaba en algo real.馃挄
En total fueron trece grannys. Cada uno tejido con cari帽o, paciencia y entusiasmo. Este fin de semana, por fin, termin茅 de unirlos y el resultado es este bolsito primaveral que hoy les muestro con much铆sima alegr铆a. Lo veo terminado y me encanta. Me emociona pensar que de unos cuadritos que no ten铆an un prop贸sito definido surgi贸 una pieza tan linda y pr谩ctica.馃尰馃Ф
As a finishing touch, I added one of the leather tags I recently purchased, and that gave it that special touch. Now I look at it and think: every stitch was totally worth it.馃尰馃Ф
