Happy day, my dear needle friends! I hope you are well, with lots of health and wellness.
Today I want to tell you about what I was doing this weekend: a new model of grannys that I am in love with. With leftover yarn balls I started to knit a flower. This time I knitted a sunflower and I confess that it has been a very nice and entertaining experience to work with this design.
I started knitting them without having a specific project in mind, simply because I saw the sunflower pattern and I wanted to try it. I knitted it in a circular shape combining brown and yellow, enjoying each petal that was taking shape between my fingers, and then I gave it a square shape until I formed the granny, which I loved.

Hoy quiero contarles sobre lo que estuve haciendo este fin de semana: un nuevo modelo de grannys que me tiene enamorada. Con restos de ovillos empec茅 a tejer una flor. Esta vez tej铆 un girasol y les confieso que ha sido una experiencia muy bonita y entretenida trabajar con este dise帽o.
Comenc茅 a tejerlos sin tener un proyecto espec铆fico en mente, simplemente porque vi el patr贸n del girasol y me dieron ganas de probarlo. Lo tej铆 en forma circular combinando el marr贸n y el amarillo, disfrutando de cada p茅talo que iba tomando forma entre mis dedos, y luego le fui dando forma cuadrada hasta formar el granny, lo cual me encant贸.
One thing I really like about grannys, and I've told you before, is their versatility. You never know what these little squares can become: a blanket? a bag? a cushion? For now, I'm letting them grow in quantity, enjoying the process without rushing, just letting myself be carried away by the colors and texture.
Although I haven't decided yet what final project I will do with them, I'm sure it will be something special and beautiful. So when I have the project ready, I will share it with all the love in the world. In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy this free knitting, without pressure, just for the pleasure of creating grannys with a sunflower in the center.

Algo que me gusta mucho de los grannys, y ya les he comentado antes, es su versatilidad. Uno nunca sabe en qu茅 se pueden convertir estos cuadritos: 驴una manta? 驴un bolso? 驴un coj铆n? Por ahora, los estoy dejando crecer en cantidad, disfrutando el proceso sin apuros, solo dej谩ndome llevar por los colores y la textura.
Aunque a煤n no he decidido qu茅 proyecto final har茅 con ellos, estoy segura de que ser谩 algo especial y hermoso. As铆 que cuando tenga el proyecto armado, se los compartir茅 con todo el cari帽o del mundo. Mientras tanto, seguir茅 disfrutando de este tejido libre, sin presiones, solo por el placer de crear grannys con un girasol en el centro.
