I tell you that today, finally, I found a hairdresser in Bogota, where I felt the confidence to put my hair in the hands of another stylist than mine in Cumana and I changed my look.
It's almost a year since my last haircut. This was a few days before the trip to Colombia and, because of the time that has passed, my hair has grown quite a bit.
Although, whenever I had it done, I always said I would wait a little longer because it looked nice, these days, I felt that it was falling out a lot, that it was heavy and that it took me a long time to keep it trimmed.
One of my hairdresser's recommendations was not to let time pass to cut it, even if it was just the ends. So, I saw the need for an urgent haircut.
In the photos below, you can see how my hair has grown from May until now. If you notice, in the most recent photo, you can no longer see the cut I had done. That's why I needed the change.

Les cuento que hoy, por fin, encontré una peluquería en Bogotá, en la cual sentí la confianza necesaria para poner mi cabello en las manos de otra estilista que no fuera la mía en Cumaná y me cambié el look.
Ha pasado casi un año desde mi último corte de pelo. Este fue unos días antes del viaje para Colombia y, por el tiempo que ha pasado, mi cabello ha crecido bastante.
Aunque, siempre que me lo arreglaba, decía que esperaría un poco más porque me lo veía bonito, ya en estos días, sentía que se me estaba cayendo mucho, que me pesaba y que me llevaba mucho tiempo mantenerlo arreglado.
Una de las recomendaciones de mi peluquera era que no dejara pasar el tiempo para cortar, aunque fueran las puntas. Así que, ya veía necesario un corte urgente.
En las fotos que les muestro a continuación, se puede ver cómo creció mi cabello desde mayo hasta ahora. Si se fijan, en la foto más reciente, ya no se nota el corte que me había hecho. Por esto, necesitaba el cambio.
This time, I put myself in the hands of a hairdresser. A very professional gentleman, as I could tell from the conversation I had with him and from the clientele that came to put themselves in his hands. However, I didn't want to take too much risk as it was the first time I had my hair cut in this city.
To begin with, I told him that I just wanted to even it out and have my hair cut to my shoulders. Well, he understood me perfectly because I was pleased with what he did.
Esta vez, me puse en manos de un peluquero. Un señor muy profesional, según pude deducir de la conversación que mantuve con él y por la clientela que acudía a ponerse en sus manos. Sin embargo no quise arriesgarme demasiado, ya que era la primera vez que me cortaba el cabello en esta ciudad.
Para comenzar, le dije que sólo quería emparejármelo y cortarme el cabello hasta los hombros. Bueno, me entendió perfectamente porque quedé complacida con lo que hizo.
I have rarely had long hair. I like to wear it short because it's more comfortable for me, because it takes less time to dry it and because, as I always say, the older you get, the less hair you have.
I'm one of those who think that beautifully styled hair frames our appearance and presence. That's why I've always liked to keep my hair and play with different styles, with different cuts. I love changes, and I'm not afraid to make them in a radical way, as long as it's in the hands of a professional.
Just today, when I had a change of look, I read this post by 
Well, I agree with her reflections because, definitely, and I told her in the publication, getting a change is to renew your appearance and its effect cheers up even the spirit. It is to give yourself a good dose of self-love and to raise your self-esteem, which makes us experience a wonderful feeling because we like what we feel inside and what we see in front of the mirror.
Pocas veces, he tenido el cabello largo. Me gusta más llevarlo corto porque me resulta más cómodo para mí, porque tardo menos tiempo en secármelo y porque, como siempre digo, cuanta más edad tengamos, menos cabellos.
Soy de las que piensan que un cabello bien peinado y bonito enmarca nuestra apariencia y presencia. Por esto, desde siempre, me ha gustado mantener mi cabello y jugar con diferentes estilos, con distintos cortes. Me encantan los cambios, y no me da miedo hacerlos de forma radical, siempre que sea en manos de un profesional.

Pues bien, estoy de acuerdo con sus reflexiones porque, definitivamente, y se lo comenté en la publicación, hacerse un cambio es renovar la apariencia y su efecto alegra hasta al espíritu. Es darse una buena dosis de amor propio y subirse la autoestima, lo que nos hace experimentar una sensación maravillosa porque nos gusta lo que sentimos por dentro y lo que vemos frente al espejo.

Me encantó la experiencia, me sentí bien atendida y esto es una parte importante de la decisión de hacerse algún cambio en el cabello. Me sentí complacida, pues el resultado me gustó mucho.
