When I was a kid, I thought anything was possible.
When I was a kid, I thought mystical creatures roamed our earth. The bright flowing hair of a unicorn, and the rainbows circling all around the unbroken earth.
That everyone was perfect, and it will stay that way. And if you were having a bad day, it just took candy and a warm tight hug, and that would keep those dark scary monsters under our bed away.
But when I would wake up and scream and point at the monster under the bed, was it fake or reality?
When time caught up, we were told “stop these childish games", and it was either them or me.
But the fantasies of soft brilliant hair of those unicorns faded away.
The sweet laughs faded away too, no matter how hard you tried, you would somehow always fail.
We were told we are perfect, but are we? We are humans walking this earth, destroying everything we see, and bad days seem to come rapidly.
Those fantasies of the monsters in our closet, and under our bed, are appearing everywhere we go now, you see?
