If there’s something I’ve always loved, it’s doing my nails. Since they grow quite a lot, they look beautiful in any color. Back in Venezuela, I used to paint them once a week. In December, I would take advantage of the tradition of going to a professional—that was my self-gift.
But now I see something really special in having learned how to do it myself, because I disconnect, relax, and enjoy the result. This time I tried the aurora effect, which is trending, and now I get why.
In the photos you can see that the base was pink, and for the effect I chose a yellow-greenish tone. But on the nails it looks more golden—like a sort of iridescent shine. I literally feel like my nails turned out just like the references I’ve saved on Pinterest. They look like princess nails and make me feel like one too. One of the best investments I’ve made in the last few months! I still have a lot of techniques to learn, but I’m really enjoying the process.
Si hay algo que siempre me ha gustado: hacerme las uñas. Porque como me crecen bastante se ven preciosas en el tono que sea. En Venezuela siempre acostumbraba a pintarlas una vez a la semana. En diciembre sí aprovechaba la tradición de ir con una profesional y era mi autoregalo.
Pero ahora veo algo muy especial haberlo aprendido porque me desconecto, me relajo, y disfruto del resultado. En esta ocasión probé el efecto aurora que está en tendencia 🫶 y ya entendí porqué.
En las fotos pueden ver que la base era rosita, escogí para el efecto un tono como amarillo-verde. Pero en la uña se ve como dorado es como un tornasol. Literalmente siento que mis uñas quedaron como las referencias que tanto he guardado en Pinterest 😍 se ven como de princesa y me hacen sentir así. De las mejores inversiones que he hecho en los últimos meses 🤭 aún me falta aprender varias técnicas pero yo estoy disfrutando el proceso.
