After returned to Hong Kong, the very first thing I wanted to do is having more and more delicious foods at my home, I don’t mean I don’t like UK, don’t take me wrong, things in the UK are nice, the weather in May was nice, the street view, the building, everything in the UK is lovely, except the foods there were just not really fit me.

It took me approximately 65 pounds at the high-end restaurant for starter, main course and dessert in London however the foods were not as good as I expected. I can tell with the same price in Hong Kong I can have much better stuff to enjoy.

Yesterday I went lunch alone because my manager needed to go bank for something personal, then I decided to AEON food court to get a nice omelet rice, oh wait, the price went up a lot, it was talking about HK$55 in my last visit 3 months ago. Now it’s about HK$75.

Okay, then I changed my mind to get the burger instead, the burger with French fried and coke only cost me HK$64 (approximately 6.75 pounds), the beef is thick enough and the bun is very soft while you bite on it.

I still remember the burger that I took in the London last year was…terrible, beef was overcook, it was dried and the bun was a bit hard either. The French fried got nothing special, it’s pretty much the same to the UK standard though.

After I had done for my lunch, I saw many many snacks and lunch box to go on the shelves which made my mouth watering. Well, the foods and snacks in Hong Kong are really great, so good to go home.

But I still look forward to my next trip in the UK, and also the US in 2025 for sure, because I love travel to different cities to experience the life there.
