Hi guys on ASEAN, haven’t been here for long long time, how are you? With the border between Hong Kong and China reopen in early February, I have been very busy in traveling two side, most likely I simply take the Chinese food delivery for the dinner or some simple paster, that make me don’t have appropriate images to compose a post to share with you guys.

Since this morning my boss went to the factory, well, it has been 4 years since his last visit, all the people in Hong Kong feel happy to not having him at the office this morning, things go very smooth without his interruption, it’s bad to say so but that’s truth, he only ruin thing and slow down everything when he’s here. Can you imagine how inefficient of our progress is when you need to submit every single email to him for approval before sending out to customer.

Therefore today we only spent half day to complete nearly a week’s workload as he’s in the office. With the higher efficiency, me and my manager could go down for lunch a bit earlier especially he’s not at the office.

There’s a nice Thai + Vietnam restaurant nearly by our office called Thirty’s, we don’t come there for lunch very often, it’s not because we don’t like the food out there but there are too many people queuing outside during our lunch break, our lunch break from 1pm to 2 pm while most of the office around off for the lunch from 12:30 to 1:30, it’s bloody busy for us to get a table unless we sneak out from the office earlier.

But it’s very slim chance for us to do so as our old man is a type of person who makes 3 to 4 phone calls to you in 5 minutes, oh yeah, it’s disgusting, I have no choice but to try get used to. Today is a chance for us to sneak out earlier as he’s out of the office, that’s why we can get the last table when we arrived (we sneak out at 12: 45, but still, nearly full already)

They don’t change on the regular menu often, let’s call the regular menu number 1 and 2, The blue and yellow menu, but they do have the number 3 menu, the orange menu, they change it in every 2 or 3 months.

I have been trying the menu 1 and 2 for few times, so I decided to try something else on the number 3 menu, the Lemongrass Pork Neck fillet rice sounds good to me. Similar to many people in the Canton province, I can’t take spicy food, but I confirmed the staff if the sauce spicy, they said no then here we go, I ordered the Lemongrass Portk Neck fillet rice.

The orange menu is a bit expensive than the number 1 and 2, but I can tell they serve with more meat than the regular menu there. Look at my manager’s dish, it doesn’t get too many minces there (it costs him HK$68 approximately US$8.72), and mine is HK$82 approximately US$10.52, but I got lot of pork neck fillet there.

And the sauce surprised me, I didn’t’ expect there would have crab meat on the sauce, even though it’s not a lot, I am satisfied.

Not sure when will I able to make some South East Asian related stuff here, or when I am able to sneak out to this restaurant again, but I pretty sure will share the nice things to here once I have any. Have a nice day guys, cheers.
