In The Field, communication with the troops are an important factor. Playing a medic gives me a brief chance to be social with a player as I revive them and mend their wounds. I have taken this opportunity to ask my patient: 'How is your war going?'. Here are some examples!
This was the commander of our forces!
Quiet fellow, though he did nod at me when asked!
Getting shot does dampen the spirit but I try and uplift them once they are ready to go!
He warned me about an enemy he already took care of
Sometimes I don't even have a chance to ask the question due to them expressing their gratitude before I even get there!
Dude was motionless for a few seconds after I revived him
Unflattering angle. After thanking me and being healed, this guy ran off into an open field and promptly died from an artillery strike.
Even though they were downed, they are never truly out. Hearing and seeing that makes this experiment worth it.
I hope next time there are more varied responses but we'll see. So since I am asking everyone else, I have to ask: How is your war going?
