I finally did it! I finally reached a 'Fishing shack' in the three games I was working towards. Having a house with 'fishing' decorations in Lord of the Rings Online, Throne & Liberty, and Stardew Valley. It was quite a virtual journey with a lot of setbacks from IRL events but never the less I did what I set out to do. It took a bit longer than I thought due to my lack of knowledge about the games, how the housing systems worked, and other things I was lacking. Although some of the purpose of this venture have sort of gone out the window, having a place for players interested in joining the fishing in these games, but that's okay. At least I completed my goal!
Lord of the Rings Online:
This game is so realistic with house payments and such!
Having finally earned enough gold to pay the upkeep and unlock my house (I thought buying a premium house would circumvent this aspect but my lack of research failed me here) I quickly filled it with what furniture I had available. I like it so far.
It's mainly fishing trophies on the wall but atleast they aren't taking up space in the bank!
I probably need to participate with some festivals to get more furniture pieces but so far this is looking nice.
The decorative options are quite astounding (Walls colors, floor patterns, ceiling decorations/fixtures) considering this game is almost 20+ years old.
I don't know how long I'll do the upkeep for the house considering each payment with in-game currency only extends the duration a week and my expertise of earning money in the game is by traveling to high level zones and killing mobs for vendor trash and items to sell on the auction house, which actually pays well!
Of course my inventory would be full of fish aswell
We'll see though!
Stardew Valley:
Obtaining the resources for a tier 2 house only took me actually playing the game and staying focused but I finally earned enough currency from fishing to purchase a tier 2 house!
Peacefully fishing is nice.
Not a big deal, this is a single player game and it would've happened anyway but still, it's nice to see some progress despite it all.
I actually thought it was 750 wood on top of the 10k gold so I spent a day longer gathering wood
Construction takes 3-4 in-game days which I will probably spend getting more currency to furnish the house before I mark this venture in the game 'complete' and I move on.
There are so many other aspects to consider while playing Stardew Valley but none of them really activate my almonds enough to pursue (at the moment).

Throne and Liberty:
The furniture isn't going to craft itself!
Again, it was a matter of committing the time to dedicate towards gathering materials and crafting furniture and being able to upgrade from the dingy basement to a house with a view. When I did the player housing introduction quest it gave a tour of NPCs houses and one of the houses had an aquarium with fish in it. I thought that was a possible housing item but recently further research told me that an aquarium furniture item wasn't actually available for players.
Trolled by the game. I've done crazier things for a player aquarium but that's okay.
Free from the basement!
I wasn't actually sure which requirement, House score or furniture items, I met to be able to upgrade to a small house but I'll take it!
Slightly bigger than the basement but this house has a view of the ocean and the cliffside!
Of course if Throne and Liberty shuts down after the developer handover than it'll all be for naught.
Wouldn't be the first time I dedicated time and effort into an MMO only for it to be announced it is shutting down (not salty).
Anyway! that's all done. And now that my year is pretty much finished for events, both personal and business, maybe I can get back to the subject matter at hand that I really enjoy doing. Insight about gaming, Fishing in games, and creating as an individual interested in growing my craft.
That's all.
Thank you for reading.
Happy Gaming!
