So, I said a prayer for my country.
I said,
'God, in your infinite mercies,
save us from the pits of poverty.
Because in it, we can't think properly.
No wonder our affairs are disorderly.
And he said,
'Your destiny lies in your hands,
And in your palms lie your tomorrow.
I gave you the power of choice long ago.
Then, watched you sell it off to dogs and goats by the road.
Your anguish and sorrows are not enlisted in my goals,
But your generation had my hands tied leaving me to watch events unfold.
You've always wanted to grow,
So, I gave you a land filled with milk, honey and gold.
Only for me to behold;
A nation enslaved to strongholds,
Where there is little or no trait of the labour of our heroes.
After many years of 'justice on leave',
I searched again and now I see;
A new nation!
Ready to fight for her future.
A special generation,
Ready to uphold the honor and glory of a new Nigeria.
I am Kilikina,
I am getting my PVC,
I am exercising my authority!
Get yours today,
It's your power!
I hoped you prayed for Nigeria
