Good day to everyone of us on the #hive blockchain. Happy Hive power up day (HPUD).
To those of us who are from Nigeria, it is our independence day. So, I warmly wish every Nigerian on this ecosystem a Happy Independence Day.
Nigeria as a country has come a long way. There are those things which we should be grateful for and there are those things which we are not happy about. In any case, we are glad that we are still forging ahead. The journey might not be smooth but we are still trailing. The road might be full of potholes and gallops still we have been going on. As a Nigerian today, I stand up and say thank you to God for the gifts of a nation like this.
Many people have the reason why they should not celebrate the independence of Nigeria. A lot of people are not pleased with the way things have been in the economic and political sectors. Whatever we are experiencing and whatever we have been experiencing, let us be glad that we are still in existence as a nation. There are several countries in the world which the citizens hold Nigeria in high esteem.
Yes, I agree that we should sit back and reflect and correct our wrongs. We cannot continue to behave as a baby nation. Nigeria ought to be counted among the developed countries. Let our leaders rise up to the challenge and build us a better nation. Let us join hands together to build and lift up Nigeria. Happy Independence, Nigeria.
