You are inevitable

For me you are inevitable,
a delight, a mystery without end.
Incomprehensible and unique,
a singular anomaly,
A temperament on fire,
an instant of truth,
A turbulent moment,
an animal in the dark.
You are the fleeting touch
of lips in love,
The perfume that intoxicates,
in the scattered air,
A hiding place among my dreams,
In my golden hair,
In every heartbeat,
always longed for.
