You must have heard the term CHAOS.... but have you ever witnessed it? Now that is the question not everyone can answer, at least not comfortably.
So I will try to share few photographs which might ignite the feelings of chaos just by watching them.
Welcome to Delhi's Chandani Chowk, which is one of the oldest part of Delhi. This was an old market place during Mughal era.
But these days this is one of the largest market places for wedding garments, stationery items, shoes etc, that explains the chaos that we see there every single day.
I was visiting that place for a wedding dress for my friend. We were exploring different shops and struggling with the swap of people, maneuvering amongst them.
Hopping shops from one area to another, everyone was moving in every direction possible. No one cares if you in their way. No "Excuse me" No "Sorry" Nothing, just movement.
And as a person who loves his personal space that place was nothing short of a nightmare for me. But still i took the opportunity to click few pictures using my OPPO Reno 12 Pro.
So, I have tried to capture movement in all forms.
Vendors occupying the streets where we usually walk, leaving no space for us to walk. But the vibe of this place is quite different, not made of everyone, specially a person like me. There are people who enjoy this chaos, people who dont mind going to chandani chowk just to enjoy street food.
By the way the photograph that you see below is of one of the roads of chandani chowk. Can you see if you can find any way to pass through this sea of electric rickshaws.
This place holds a beautiful history and with my photos I am just trying to showcase some of the challenges this place have. People wandering around without any civic sense, people littering everywhere, people driving anywhere they want and also this place can get dangerous to people who are new to this place. Loads of pick pocketing incidents infest this place with unruly miscreants.
Still people from all around the world come to visit and experience this place and understand the extensive history.
