Sometimes we tend to have two exact things placed before us and it’s just a matter of choices, for you to choose the right object that can be substituted and served as all purpose. For example I have a dry milk and a liquid milk and am left to pick one from the two options, I will go for the dry milk because I can always make it liquid and that is just my simple illustration. It’s not really about the milk though, wait till you get the full gist.
Here we go, let me share a crazy and funny story to you. You know I like writing from experience and this one is a personal story about me substituting one thing for the other.
So few days back, I was getting ready to go out and as I was about to apply some makeup on my face I realized that my Mascara had dried up because I didn’t close it properly the last time that I used it. I wanted my natural lashes to pop out (ladies you know that feeling yeah?...) then I thought about what else that I have and I could used and I found something. Guess what I found? Tada! It was my hair extensions bond glue😂How could I have imagined. It’s black in color when dried up, so I thought of using it. I used the Mascara brush and then applied it on my lashes it was so fine as I wanted🤯, but little did I know that there was going to be a problem. Haha...how foolish of me to have thought about that at beginning.
Then it was time to get them off...Wahala (a big problem). I never thought of how I was going to do that before applying it on. So I called my friend who is a hair stylist and told her what I have done. She teased me and we laughed and talked about the "Gorilla glue woman". But my case was not as bad as that though and she told me what to use. It was oil, in her words "any oil" and I tried using the Bio oil that I have and applied before I slept (second mistake😩) and immediately I did it was getting sticky as though they were coming off so I was a bit relaxed that I have gotten a solution then I slept and sometimes crazy happened. I woke up but my eyes were closed 😂it was the glue. I used my fingers to separate my lashes and applied the oil again and they came off after several attempts. Big lessons learnt.
It was really very crazy and funny because I had a wrong substitute. Please do not try this, and if you do you’re going to freak out big time. When it comes to the idea of substituting always have a second thought, ask questions and go for the best.
