Today was my self-care shopping day in Faisalabad..yeppi i was so excited and I finally bought everything that was in my cart for one month. I went to the market after my morning clinic, and I came back to my hostel room with this small bag of happiness. Let me show you every item, one by one.
The first thing I bought was sunglasses. Actually two sunglasses. On the top left side of the photo, you can see them. They are NHT Brand, rimless, very stylish.
One is in brown shade and one is in dark black-purple shade. I have wanted rimless sunglasses for so long. In Faisalabad sun, when I go from my hostel to my clinic...! the sun hits directly in my eyes. My old sunglasses were heavy and gave me headache. Can you guess which one are mine??? Obviously BROWN...Hahhah...!
These are so light, like there is no frame at all. Just the glass and a golden side clip. When I wore the black one, I felt like a 90s heroine. When I wore the brown one, I felt more professional, like a doctor. So I could not decide. The shopkeeper in market said, "Dono le lo (Buy both)"So I bought both. One for me, one for my sister .Best decision.
The second item is my most expensive and most loved.
KIKO Milano lip gloss .The shade is like a baby pink with glitter.
I have seen KIKO Milano only on Instagram and TikTok. I thought we cannot get original KIKO in Faisalabad. But I found one cosmetic shop in Lyallpur that imports it. When I saw it, I just held it.
The packaging is so luxury. Heavy silver cap, glass bottle, and inside the gloss is so thick and shimmery. I swatched it on my hand and it was like pink diamond. It is not a lipstick, it is a gloss, so it will be shiny, not matte. For me, as a physiotherapist, I cannot wear dark red lipstick daily in clinic. But this KIKO gloss is perfect. Light pink, natural, glossy, but still makes my face fresh. I bought it for my hangouts and for my cousin's wedding next month. It was a little expensive, but I said to myself, you work hard in clinic, you deserve one branded item.
Third is Lip gloss from BBA. BBA is my favorite Pakistani brand because it is long-lasting and affordable for hostel girls like me.
I bought two lipsticks together as a deal. Both are matte liquid lipsticks. The color is like mauve pink and fire hot sexy rose red. I love BBA lipsticks because they don't transfer. When I wear a mask in my physiotherapy clinic, normal lipstick comes off on the mask. BBA stays.
The gloss with 16 Pink Love...! This one is on top of my yellow diary. Shade 16 Pink Love is exactly what it says a pink that shows love. It's a bright, girly pink.
The shade 07 is a darker, more bold color. I call it fire hot sexy. It's like a reddish . The name Hold On is perfect because this lipstick really holds on for 12 hours. I bought this for when I have to go to a formal dinner or when I have to attend a workshop at my hospital. It gives a very confident look.
Now comes the most interesting part...Lash Lengthening Mascara ...and guess what its a freebie....Yeppi. actually it was their deal if i order worth 3k Rupeese i will get their top rated Mascara as freebie.
I have large lashes, and I never used mascara before because I thought it will look too much. But my friend in hostel uses BBA mascara and her eyes look so big and awake, even when she is tired from duty.
Finally I got this today. The tube is simple white, very clean. I opened it in....and checked the wand - it's thin, perfect for separating lashes. I tried it on one eye in the mirror, and my lash looked instantly longer, like double length. It is not clumpy. It is lengthening, not volumizing, so it looks very natural, not like fake lashes. Perfect for my daily clinic look.
So total today, I bought 6 items 2 sunglasses and 4 makeup products. I came back to my hostel room in Faisalabad, put them all on my red blanket, and took this collage photo for my memory.
I know for some people this is just makeup. But for me, who lives in a hostel room, who works in a clinic all day, who feels bored sometimes ...! these small items make me feel like myself again. Like a girl, not just a physiotherapist. I am so happy with today's shopping.
For dinner, today i had my most favorite CHICKEN SPICY WRAP. its was just so perfect to freshen up my mind as well as mood. Truly.....
Good Food = Good Mood
We ordered it from our favorite spot CR CRAVING in JINNAH COLONY. And as always it was extremely yummy.
An my day ended with alot of joy from shopping makup to having favourite chiken spicy wrap. What else can be more good than all of these.
