Hello, Foodies of Hive! I am back with another vegan recipe. This dish is actually inspired by another recipe I posted before which is Yachaejeon or Vegetable Pancake. This recipe is more of an experiment because I want to see what other vegetables would be perfect to make vegetable pancakes.

So, without further ado, here is the recipe for making Potato and Green Onions Pancakes.

Set aside and prepare for mixing.

Once everything is ready, let's make this pancake!

Instructions:

1.In a mixing bowl, add the grated potatoes, minced garlic, chopped green onions and the flour. Add some water if the mixture is too dry.

2.Mix the vegetables altogether. There are times that potatoes produce so much water so you might need to add flour.

5.Before flipping sprinkle the pancake with some sesame seeds. Black, white or mixed sesame seeds will do.

6.Make sure the other side of the pancake is golden brown before flipping. If you flip too early, the pancake might be too soft and break down.

7.You can serve it whole you can also slice it quarters.

To be honest, I'm not really that happy with the result of this dish but I believe there is still have room for improvement. I love the flavor of the green onions but the potato has its own that overpowered the dish. I will be trying to make a different version with probably new ingredients.
