Hello!! It is a pleasure to greet you again, I had days that I did not upload anything but today I woke up with a lot of desire to draw and returned to drawing with graphite, so I grabbed a pencil and started to create a sketch, although being honest I had not drawn for a long time freehand since I have become accustomed to making my drawings on the laptop and for that reason I think I have lost a lot of practice, however the result was to my liking.
Hola!! es un gusto saludarlos de nuevo, tenia dias que no subia nada pero hoy amaneci con muchas ganas de dibujar y volvi al dibujo con grafito, asi que agarre un lapiz y me puse a crear un boceto, aunque siendo sincero desde hace mucho que no dibujaba a mano alzada ya que me eh acostumbrado a hacer mis dibujos en la laptop y por eso razon creo que eh perdido mucha practica, sin embargo el resultado fue de mi agrado.
At first I started a sketch with the intention of drawing a woman in 3/4 perspective, with collected hair, fixed gaze, upturned nose and beautiful lips, this process took me about 1 hour, since I corrected a lot of details .
En un principio empecé un boceto con la intensión de dibujar a una mujer en perspectiva de 3/4, con cabello recogido, mirada fija, nariz respingada y unos hermosos labios, dicho proceso me tomo alrededor de 1 hora, ya que corregía mucho los detalles.
At this point I already had a well-formed silhouette and I focus all my attention on giving shape and intensity to the look, adding shadows to the lower and upper eyelids.
En este punto ya tenía la silueta bien formada y concentro toda mi atención a dar forma e intensidad a la mirada, agregando sombras a los parpados inferiores como superiores.
For the hair I decided something demure, smooth and well tied, for this I applied a gradient with the intention of shaping the strands and also drew some lines to create a disheveled effect, I also reinforced the lines of the nose and others to finish the drawing.
Para el cabello decidí algo recatado, liso y bien atado, para esto le aplique un degradado con la intensión de dar forma a las hebras y también dibuje algunas líneas para crear un efecto de despeinado, además reforcé las líneas de la nariz y otras para terminar el dibujo.
I proceeded to scan the drawing and to my disappointment some details of the drawing were lost, but I still go ahead and play with the contrast to darken the lines for a better visual appearance.
Procedí a escanear el dibujo y para mi decepción algunos detalles del dibujo se perdieron, pero aun así prosigo y juego con el contraste para oscurecer las líneas y lograr una mejor apariencia visual.
I have to admit that I love the effect that remains in the line, somewhat imperfect, untidy but that gives a character that gives a lot of life to the illustration
Tengo que admitir que me encanta el efecto que queda en la línea, algo imperfecta, desprolija pero que da un carácter que da mucha vida a la ilustración
I start applying colors and decide on a palette of warm and opaque colors, a yellow for the hair, a very opaque orange for the skin and some color for the lips.
Empiezo a aplicar colores y me decido por una paleta de colores cálidos y opacos, un amarillo para el cabello, un naranja muy opaco para la piel y algo de color a los labios.
Here I start to add depth and for this I use the airbrush on a separate layer, with a low opacity, respecting the light source, I also take the opportunity to give more color to the lips, the iris and the whites of the eyes that I never paint white , rather I use a very opaque saturated color.
Aquí empiezo a agregar profundidad y para ello uso el aerógrafo en una capa aparte, con una opacidad baja, respetando la fuente de luz, además aprovecho a dar más color a los labios, el iris y el blanco de los ojos que nunca pinto de blanco, más bien uso un color saturado muy opaco.
To finish, I use several layers to soften the shadows and lights.
Para finalizar uso varias capas para fesorzar las sombras y luces.
