Live an Unjustified Life

Today's "quote to live by" builds an earlier piece which was 'Dare To Be You'. It's really another way of saying the same thing - Live life in your own way without feeling the need to explain or justify yourself to others.

And, it's not always about justifying yourself to others it could equally apply to yourself.

It's worth paying attention to when you find yourself justifying doing something to yourself.

I have found that at such times I am usually out of sync with my innate wisdom. Most often I observe this when it's time to let something go, but for some reason, I don't want to.

My drop shipping business is a great example.

I haven't done any advertising for it since November but it's only now that I've finally starting taking the action I need to take in order to walk away from it.

After 18 months of hard work I had finally gotten to the point where it could have been really lucrative, but I didn't enjoy it at all.

I used to get up in the mornings, dreading going online and having to deal with customer support and suppliers. However, because I could see a very lucrative future I kept coming up with reasons why it was a good thing to keep doing it. And yet I took no action to keep the business going.

This inspirational mini was the first I ever sold. At the time, I hadn't even considered the possibility of selling but a friend saw this one and wanted to buy it, along with a second. She insisted on paying and also commissioned a third and hence I suddenly found myself a bona fide "artist".
