Happy crochet day to everyone. I don't know if this happens only to me or to all crocheters, but every time I finish a project I can't wait to share it with everyone I can. This time I finished Skye from Paw Patrol, my client, uy I'm already talking about clients, hahahahahaha, she loves several of the puppies from the canine patrol, but I started with Skye because I think she is very cute to work with, I liked her colors and accessories and I threw myself into the adventure of knitting this little puppy.

Feliz día para todos. No sé si esto me pasa solo a mi o a todos los crocheteros, pero cada vez que termino un proyecto no puedo esperar a compartirlo con todo los que puedo. Esta vez terminé a Skye de Paw Patrol, mi clienta, uy ya estoy hablando de clientes, jajajajaja, quiere a varios de los cachorros de la patrulla canina, pero yo empecé con Skye porque me parece que es muy linda para trabajar, me gustaron sus colores y los accesorios y me lancé a la aventura de tejer a esta pequeña cachorrita.

As almost always, we encounter certain obstacles when making an amigurumi, either in some of its parts or in this case, in the colors. I didn't get in the store the exact colors of the character, but I chose the close colors and some not so close, as in the case of the ears that I made them in orange.

Como casi siempre, nos encontramos con ciertos obstáculos a la hora de elaborar un amigurumi, ya sea en alguna de sus partes o en este caso, en los colores. No conseguí en la tienda los colores exactos del personaje, pero elegí los colores cercanos y algunos no tanto, como en el caso de las orejas que las hice color naranja.

I divided the work into parts to be a little more organized than I usually am, this is something I'm learning and everything flows better, more harmonious and of course, I enjoy the process more.

El trabajo lo dividí en partes para estar un poco más organizada de lo que normalmente soy, esto es algo que estoy aprendiendo y todo fluye mejor, más armónico y por supuesto, yo disfruto más en el proceso.

First I did the head, I wanted to work the part of the face changing the colors, but I don't handle the technique well, because the clearest part where the eyes were supposed to go was getting twisted as I advanced with the turns. I gave up on that idea, but I didn't want to lose the work done and since Skye wears an aviator helmet, I simply turned around and covered that part with the helmet, it was perfect.

Primero hice la cabeza, quería trabajar la parte de la cara cambiando los colores, pero no manejo bien la técnica, pues la parte más clara donde se supone que irían los ojos se iba torciendo en la medida que avanzaba con las vueltas. Desistí de esa idea, pero no quería perder el trabajo realizado y como Skye usa un casco de aviador, simplemente di vuelta y cubrí esa parte con el casco, quedo perfecto.

I made the body in two parts, one inside and the vest in magenta, her original color is more like a bubblegum pink, and magenta is the closest to it.

El cuerpo lo hice en dos partes, una interna y el chaleco color magenta, su color original es más parecido a un rosa chicle, y magenta es el que más se le acercaba.

I worked the legs in two colors, first white, in a magic ring of 8 low stitches and from then on the same amount of stitches, the first 7 rounds with white yarn and the remaining 5 in beige.

Las patitas las trabaje en dos colores, primero blanco, en un anillo mágico de 8 puntos bajos y de allí en adelante la misma cantidad de puntos, las primera 7 vueltas con hilo blanco y las 5 restantes en color beige.

I made the hat, with his aviator glasses, the little suitcase on his back. Ears, muzzle and eyes, this last one was the most difficult because the eyes capture the essence of the character and I am aware that I need to work more on it, for example, the edge of the eyes, where I placed a black thread, did not look good, because I used silicon and the tips are raised. I could notice that in the photos, if I had seen it more carefully I would have corrected it, I will be more careful in the future.

Realicé el gorro, con sus lentes de aviador, la pequeña maleta que lleva sobre la espalda. Orejas, hocico y los ojos, esta último fue lo más difícil pues en los ojos se capta la esencia del personaje y estoy consciente de que necesito trabajar más en ello, por ejemplo, el borde de los ojos, en donde coloqué un hilo negro, no quedó bien, pues usé silicon y las puntas están levantadas. Eso lo pude notar en las fotos, si lo hubiese visto con más cuidado lo habría corregido, seré más cuidadosa en lo sucesivo.
