El anterior fue un dibujo a lápiz de un Hada y hoy me di la tarea de realizar una con acuarelas. Es un hada con una cabeza cónica y su piel es de color naranja dónde se pueden notar con facilidad sus venas también de color naranja un poco más intenso. Cuentan las historias de fantasía que las hadas en la mayoría de los casos tienen poderes, el de ésta es que dentro de su cabeza cónica están los mejores secretos guardados de la tierra. Y si te ha pasado alguna vez que no consigues la solución a algún problema, lo dejas un rato de meditar para darte un descanso y cuando regresas ya ves con mucha facilidad la solución?...pues es que el hada de los enigmas te ha dejado un regalito. (Esto es sólo una historia producto de mi imaginación). Proceso de pintura.

The previous one was a pencil drawing of a fairy and today I gave myself the task of making one with watercolors. It is a fairy with a conical head and her skin is orange where you can easily notice her veins also a little more intense orange. Fantasy stories tell that fairies in most cases have powers, and this one has the best kept secrets of the earth inside her conical head. Realicé el boceto de la pintura. Me pasó que está vez no medí las proporciones de la figura y me quedó muy pegada al borde superior de la hoja. Tendré esto en cuenta en mi próximo dibujo o pintura.

I made the sketch of the painting. This time I didn't measure the proportions of the figure and it was too close to the top edge of the leaf. I will take this into account in my next drawing or painting.

Realicé una aguada con acuarelas según los colores de cada área de la pintura.

I made a gouache with watercolors according to the colors of each area of the painting.

Apliqué una capada de pintura en un tono más oscuro. Está pintura en un diseño mío y por no tener una referencia de dónde colocar las luces y sombras ya que no manejo la técnica a la perfección, me resultó un poco difícil darle los efectos de volumen, profundidad y movimiento. Creo que por eso me quedó un poco plana.

I applied a layer of paint in a darker tone. This painting is in a design of mine and because I didn't have a reference of where to place the lights and shadows since I don't handle the technique to perfection, it was a little difficult to give the effects of volume, depth and movement. I think that's why it was a little flat.

Apliqué los colores en las alas procurando conseguir el efecto traslúcido. Quedó aceptable, pero siempre puede quedar mejor.

I applied the colors on the wings trying to get the translucent effect. It was acceptable, but it can always be better.

Finalmente retoqué algunos detalles y pinte los ojos y he aquí el resultado.

Finally I retouched some details and painted the eyes and here is the result.

Yo espero que les guste amigos hivers, quise trabajar en esta oportunidad con esta hada a color para ver el contraste con la hada realizada solo con lápiz de grafito, en mi opinión los colores dan vida y traen belleza a lo que percibimos y vemos, espero saber cuál hada fue más de su agrado si la hada de lápiz de grafito o la hada en acuarela.
