Here's another piece I created today.
I wanted this piece to feel both confident and thoughtful.
The strong eyes, expressive features, and loose strands of hair give the portrait a quiet attitude, while the cross-hatching adds depth without taking away from the simplicity of the pen.
I carefully focused on capturing more than just her appearance, the mood character, and subtle emotion in her expression.
It's sad study of beauty expressed through line, shadow, and attitude
