[ENG/ESP] Fantasy headband with crochet flowers./ Diadema de Fantasía con flores a crochet.

In my reconquest with crochet I decided to make a headband for my daughter who has her first participation in a play on Saturday. It will be only a sentence of 10 words, but I can't be more excited. Also my son Carlos has a theatrical participation in his school but that is another post, in this one what I want to show you is how to make small double flowers of 5 petals, decorated with pearls. These flowers can be used as appliques for dresses, jumpsuits, headbands and headbands, in short for whatever our creativity allows us. I am going to leave you every detail to make these pretty flowers that are very easy to make. The materials for the headband I used are:

En mi reconquista con el crochet me dispuse a realizar una diadema para hija que tiene su primera participación en una obra de teatro para el día sábado. Será solo una frase de 10 palabras, pero yo no puedo estar más emocionada. También mi hijo Carlos tiene una participación teatral en su colegio pero ese es otro post, en este lo que quiero mostrarles es cómo hacer unas pequeñas flores dobles de 5 pétalos, decoradas con perlas. Estás flores se pueden utilizar como apliques para vestidos, monos, cintillos y diademas, en fin para lo que nuestra creatividad nos lo permita. Les voy a dejar cada detalles para realizar estás lindas flores que son muy fáciles de hacer. Los materiales para la diadema que utilicé son:

To make the larger flower we start by making a magic ring and knit nine single crochet stitches around the ring. We pull the starting yarn and to adjust the ring and close with a slip stitch in the starting chain stitch. We go up with three chains and advance with a double loop (the double loop consists of a double twist on the load yarn), we introduce the needle in the same stitch where I closed the first round to make a double slip stitch using the double loop. I repeat the double crochet in the same stitch and repeat until I complete 4 double crochets, including the beginning chain. I make three chains and then pick up the stitch next to it with a single crochet. This way I have a petal. For the next petal I start with three chains following three double crochets in the next space, (all the double crochets go in the same stitch and the chains in the stitches on the sides), then and three closed chains in a low stitch right next to it.

Para hacer la flor más grande empezamos realizando un anillo mágico y tejemos nueve puntos bajos alrededor del anillo. Tiramos del hilo de inicio y para ajustar el anillo y cerramos con un punto deslizado en el punto cadena de inicio. Subimos con tres cadenas y avanzamos con doble lazada. ( La doble lazada consiste en dar doble giro sobre el hilo de carga), introducimos la aguja en el mismo punto dónde cerré la primera vuelta para realizar un punto alto doble haciendo uso de la doble lazada. Repito el punto alto doble en el mismo punto y repito hasta completar 4 puntos altos doble, incluyendo la cadena de inicio. Hago tres cadenas y luego pico en el punto de al lado con un punto bajo. De esta manera tengo un pétalo. Para el siguiente pétalo empiezo con tres cadenas siguiendo de tres puntos altos dobles en el siguiente espacio, (todos los puntos altos dobles van en el mismo punto y las cadenas en los puntos a los costados) , luego y tres cadenas cerradas en un punto bajo justo a lado.

To make the smaller flower we start in the same way, with a magic ring and 9 low stitches. After closing the ring, we make two chain stitches. Remember that in the larger flower there were three chain stitches. What we are looking for by reducing the number of stitches in height is to have a smaller flower, everything is repeated in the same way but with a high stitch instead of a double high stitch that is made with two loops.

Para hacer la flor más pequeña iniciamos de la misma manera, con un anillo mágico y 9 puntos bajos. Después de cerrar el anillo, hacemos dos puntos de cadena. Recordemos que en la flor más grande eran tres puntos de cadena. Lo que buscamos al reducen la cantidad de puntos de altura es tener una flor más pequeña, todo se repite de la misma manera pero con un punto alto en lugar de un punto alto doble que se hace con dos lazadas.

Now that we have finished the flowers which are 7 medium and 7 small, we place the beads around the ring of the small flowers. We are going to place five beads. Then we join the big flower to the small one and attach them to the organza ribbon with needle and thread. For this headband I applied small die-cut flowers that I bought at the haberdashery. I attached them with hot silicone.

Ya que hemos terminado las flores que son 7 medianas y 7 pequeñas, colocamos las perlas alrededor del anillo de las flores pequeñas. Vamos a colocar cinco perlas. Luego unimos la flor grande a la pequeña y las fijamos a la cinta de organza con aguja e hilo. Para esta diadema apliqué pequeñas flores troqueladas que compré en la mercería. Las fijé con silicón caliente.
