Of course I had to enter this initiative, not only for the fact of being part of what is built daily in #jewerlry with our creative posts, comments and support among members and friends of the community, which of course is something of vital importance, but because this initiative especially invites us to explore and exploit our creative self, and this is something that helps us grow and gain confidence in our development as artisans.	Por supuesto que tenía que entrar a esta iniciativa, no solo por el hecho de hacerme parte de lo que se construye a diario en #jewerlry con nuestros post creativos, comentarios y apoyo entre miembros y amigos de la comunidad, que desde luego es algo de vital importancia, sino porque ésta iniciativa en especial nos invita a explorar y explotar nuestro yo creativo, y esto es algo que nos ayuda a crecer y a ganar confianza en nuestro desarrollo como artesanos.

Por supuesto que tenía que entrar a esta iniciativa, no solo por el hecho de hacerme parte de lo que se construye a diario en #jewerlry con nuestros post creativos, comentarios y apoyo entre miembros y amigos de la comunidad, que desde luego es algo de vital importancia, sino porque ésta iniciativa en especial nos invita a explorar y explotar nuestro yo creativo, y esto es algo que nos ayuda a crecer y a ganar confianza en nuestro desarrollo como artesanos.


Personally, I am of a very marked classic style and although the classic does not go out of fashion, we must remember that not everything we create is for us and that we should not limit ourselves to our tastes only, but it is good to look at life and art in this case, from the perspective of other people.	En lo personal, soy de un estilo clásico muy marcado y aunque lo clásico no pasa de moda, debemos recordar que no todo lo que creamos es para nosotros y que no debemos limitarnos a nuestros gustos solamente, sino que es bueno mirar la vida y el arte en este caso, desde la perspectiva de otras personas.


By proposing this initiative, which is more for me, a creative challenge, we are encouraged to step out of our comfort zone and that's great. In this sense, I decided not to buy any materials because it would make it much easier to do everything, but instead I set out to work with what I had in my little box of materials. I found two types of beautiful buttons, some pink and some purple ones that matched very well and some mouse tail in the same shades. On the other hand, the newly bought muranos would also be included and some other little things as the design came up.	Al proponernos esta iniciativa, que es más para mí, un reto creativo, se nos anima a salirnos de nuestra zona de confort y eso es grandioso. En este sentido, decidí no comprar nada de materiales porque así sería mucho más fácil hacer todo, sino que me propuse trabajar con lo que tenía en mi cajita de materiales. Encontré dos tipos de botones hermosos, unos rosados y unos morados que combinaban muy bien y algo de cola de ratón en las mismas tonalidades. Por otro lado los muranos recién comprados también serían incluidos y alguna que otra cosita según fuera surgiendo el diseño.

Al proponernos esta iniciativa, que es más para mí, un reto creativo, se nos anima a salirnos de nuestra zona de confort y eso es grandioso. En este sentido, decidí no comprar nada de materiales porque así sería mucho más fácil hacer todo, sino que me propuse trabajar con lo que tenía en mi cajita de materiales. Encontré dos tipos de botones hermosos, unos rosados y unos morados que combinaban muy bien y algo de cola de ratón en las mismas tonalidades. Por otro lado los muranos recién comprados también serían incluidos y alguna que otra cosita según fuera surgiendo el diseño.


At first I wanted to make a bracelet, but as I always make bracelets, I also rejected the temptation to go back to the usual and decided to make earrings.	Al principio quería hacer una pulsera, pero como siempre hago pulseras, también rechacé esa tentación de volver a lo de siempre y me decidí a hacer unos aretes.


The first thing I did was to pass a 16 gauge nylon thread through the hole of the hook, then I introduced an amber and a green Murano, from there I included the pink button through the holes in reverse directions and thus prevent it from slipping.	Lo primero que hice fue pasar un hilo de nylon calibre 16 por el orificio del anzuelo, luego introduje un Murano ámbar y uno verde, de allí incluí el botón rosa atravesado por los orificios en sentidos inversos y así evitar que se deslizara.


At this point I gave up including the purple button because I spent about an hour, without exaggerating, trying to attach it and I could not, so I replaced the button with the mouse tail thread to cover the back of the button and it also served me to give it a nice finish. As a last detail I included a silver chain to give strength to the piece and I think it was the right thing to do because it also lowered the subtle tone and gave it much more presence.	En este punto desistí de incluir el botón morado porque me pase como una hora, sin exagerar, tratando de anexarlo y no pude, así que sustituí el botón por el hilo cola de ratón para cubrir la parte de atrás del botón y me sirvió también para darle un bonito acabado. Cómo último detalle incluí una cadena color plata para dar fuerza a la pieza y creo que fue algo acertado porque además le bajó el tono tan sutil y le dió mucha más presencia.

En este punto desistí de incluir el botón morado porque me pase como una hora, sin exagerar, tratando de anexarlo y no pude, así que sustituí el botón por el hilo cola de ratón para cubrir la parte de atrás del botón y me sirvió también para darle un bonito acabado. Cómo último detalle incluí una cadena color plata para dar fuerza a la pieza y creo que fue algo acertado porque además le bajó el tono tan sutil y le dió mucha más presencia.


I present you my creation with buttons. I felt quite comfortable working with these buttons, which although they are somewhat discreet, in the company of the whole outfit goes very well. Although if I'm honest, I think they are still within the limits of my style, and I didn't go too much towards where I wanted to in the beginning, as I stayed true to my tendencies. For the next one I would like to do something more extravagant and colorful. It's a commitment to me. Les presento mi creación con botones. Me sentí bastante cómoda trabajando con estos botones, que si bien es cierto son algo discretos, en compañía de todo el conjunto va muy bien. Aunque si soy honesta, creo que todavía siguen estando dentro de los límites de mi estilo, y no me fui demasiado hacia donde quería en un principio, pues me mantuve fiel a mis tendencias.
