[ENG/ESP] Crochet pumpkins./Calabazas a crochet.

I have been suffering from sleep disorders and I have read that the causes and types of disorders can be many, in my case I wake up in the middle of the morning and my head activates as if it were 2pm. For almost a year now I have been waking up at 3am and not sleeping anymore, but the last few days it has been at 2am and even 1am and I totally wake up. Obviously this affects my performance during the day a lot because I am tired all the time. You may be thinking that this has nothing to do with needlepoint Mondays, but I feel that somehow knitting calms me down a bit and helps me stay busy so I don't go take a nap in the middle of the afternoon as this affects the insomnia much more.

He estado padeciendo trastornos del sueño y he leído que las causas y tipos de trastornos pueden ser muchos, en mi caso me despierto en medio de la madrugada y mi cabeza se activa como que fuesen las dos de la tarde. Hace casi un año que me despierto a las 3 am y no duermo más, pero los últimos días ha sido a las 2am e incluso a la 1am y me desvelo totalmente. Obviamente esto afecta mucho mi rendimiento durante el día porque estoy cansada todo el tiempo. Estarán pensando que esto nada tiene que ver con los lunes de aguja, pero siento que de alguna manera tejer me tranquiliza un poco y me ayuda a mantenerme ocupada para no irme a tomar una siesta en la mitad de la tarde ya que esto afecta mucho más el insomnio.

Among the things I read there were some recommendations and it was to do some kind of activity that relaxes our mind, and knitting usually helps me to calm my thoughts as it is usually what makes me lose sleep and yesterday afternoon I was busy making a small pumpkins that I wanted to make for a long time. I made them precisely to combat the lethargy I was falling into as a result of my sleeplessness so as not to make the insomnia worse.

Entre las cosas que leí habían algunas recomendaciones y era hacer algún tipo de actividad que relajara nuestra mente, y el tejer normalmente me ayuda a tranquilizar mis pensamientos ya que generalmente es lo que me hace perder el sueño y ayer en la tarde me ocupé en hacer una pequeñas calabazas que desde hace tiempo quería hacer. Las hice precisamente para combatir el letargo en el que estaba cayendo producto de mi desvelo y así no empeorar el insomnio.

I started with a magic ring of 6 stitches, in the second round I increased to 12 low stitches making an increase in each stitch. Empecé con un anillo mágico de 6 puntos, en la segunda vuelta aumenté a 12 puntos bajos haciendo un aumento en cada punto. En la tercera vuelta aumenté a 18 puntos bajos, realizando un aumento intercalado y en la cuarta vuelta fueron 24 puntos bajos, agregando un aumento cada dos puntos. A partir de allí subí 5 vueltas de 24 puntos y empecé a cerrar la circunferencia con disminuciones.

I left the opening to fill in and a long strand of yarn which I used to close completely. With this same yarn I gave the shape by piercing with the needle from end to end and making a little bit of a pumpkin shape. Con esta misma hebra di la forma traspasando con la aguja de extremo a extremo y aparentando un poco para darle la forma de calabaza. Las dos primeras las hice de la misma manera pero recordé que en alguna parte había visto que daban puntadas en pespunte y así el hilo no se nota y queda mucho mejor.
