[ENG/ESP] Amigurumi doll with interchangeable clothes./Muñeca Amigurumi con ropas intercambiables.

I was wondering what I could do with a beige and a brown yarn that I bought without any destination. Actually I exchanged them in the store since I had bought a red yarn to finish my openwork blouse, but I made a mistake in the thickness of the yarn and the store offered me the latter until the new order arrived where they would include my red yarn. I accepted without thinking too much about it because I liked these beige and brown yarns very much for the nice shine that characterizes them. Then I thought about making a bear, also a lion, but finally I decided on a doll although I was not entirely convinced by the thickness of the wool. I wasn't convinced by the color either, but I stopped thinking about it too much and got down to work. I will tell you the result later.

Me preguntaba qué podía hacer con una lana color beige y una marrón que compré sin destino alguno. En realidad las cambié en la tienda ya que había comprado una lana roja para terminar mi blusa calada, pero me equivoqué el el grosor de la lana y en la tienda me ofrecieron estás últimas hasta tanto llegara el pedido nuevo donde incluirían mi lana roja. Acepté sin pensarlo mucho ya que estás lanas beige y marrón me gustaron mucho por el bonito brillo que las caracteriza. Entonces pensé en hacer un oso, también un león, pero finalmente me decidí por una muñeca aunque no estaba del todo convencida por el grosor de la lana. Tampoco me convencía el color, pero dejé de pensarlo demasiado y me puse manos a la obra. El resultado se los cuento más adelante.

Body: Before making the body I had to do some terminations on the head because I wanted to make a continuous neck between the head and the body, so I had to apply the eyes and glue the hair which is just brown wool of 25 centimeters each strand and I was tying each strand in each stitch of the head. Then I stuffed a little and introduced a wooden stick to firm the neck. After the decreases I continued 12 sts until completing 3 rows, from there I made 2 increases after each single crochet and obtained 20 sts. I repeated one round in the same way and in the next one I made 2 additional increases in the whole round when I reached the 10th stitch in this way I obtained more width in the shoulders and completed 24 stitches for the width of the torso with 16 rounds. I finished filling in the head, arms and legs and then with a wool needle I sewed all the pieces to the body.

Cuerpo: Antes de hacer el cuerpo tuve que hacer algunas terminaciones en la cabeza porque deseaba hacer un cuello contínuo entre la cabeza y el cuerpo, así que tuve que aplicar los ojos y pegar el cabello que no es más que lana marrón de 25 centímetros cada hebra y fui amarrando cada hebra en cada punto de la cabeza. Seguidamente relleno un poco e introduce un palito de madera para firmeza al cuello. Luego de las disminuciones continué 12 pb hasta completar 3 vueltas, a partir de allí realicé 2 aumentos después de cada punto bajo y obtuve 20 pb. Repetí una vuelta de la misma manera y en la siguiente realice 2 aumentos adicionales en toda la vuelta al llegar al punto 10 de esta manera obtuve más amplitud en los hombros y complete 24 puntos para el ancho del torso con 16 vueltas. Terminé de rellenar la cabeza, brazos y piernas y luego con aguja lanera cosí todas las piezas al cuerpo.

I wanted to make clothes that I could put on and take off this doll because I might later make some outfits for her and also so my daughter could learn how to dress her. I think it has some functionality. I made her shorts with light blue macramé, a little top with slightly droopy shoulders, this last one was not intentional, I didn't know how to make them and I was trying and improvising until I got this model by chance. I couldn't make shoes because of the round shape of the foot. They looked like a meaningless ball and it didn't look attractive so that's where the little grey bag was born.

Quise hacer ropa que pudiera poner y quitar a esta muñeca porque quizás más adelante le realice algunos atuendos y también para que mi hija pudiera aprender a vestirla. Creo que tiene algo de funcionalidad. Le realicé un shorts con macramé celeste, un pequeño top con hombros un poco caídos, esto último no fue intencional, no sabía cómo hacerlos y fui probando e improvisando hasta que me salió este modelo de manera fortuita. No pude hacer zapatos por la forma redonda del pie. Me quedaban como una bola sin sentido y no se veía atractivo así que de allí nació el pequeño bolso gris.

I put some blush on the cheeks and eyelashes. My daughter asked me where is her mouth? But doing a little research on the origin of Amigurumis, I learned that these dolls are considered to be friends and confidants that's why the absence of mouth symbolizes that they know how to keep secrets. Of course my baby wouldn't understand something like that, so I told her that she looks very cute and she just accepted it. The doll's hair is the biggest sensation, I was fascinated by it and so was my little girl. This is also very funny because I was already playing with her hair and she asked me that if she drank all the milk she would grow her hair like her princess, referring to the doll. What happens with this is that she doesn't like to drink milk and we persuade her to do it with the argument that it will help her hair grow. I do want her hair to reach her waist.

Coloqué algo de rubor en las mejillas y pestañas. Mi hija me preguntó dónde está su boca? Pero investigando un poco sobre el origen de los Amigurumis, supe que estos muñecos son considerados como amigos y confidentes por eso la ausencia de boca lo que simboliza que saben guardar secretos. Claro que mi nena no entendería algo así, por eso le dije que así está muy linda y ella simplemente lo aceptó. El cabello de la muñeca es la mayor sensación, a mí me fascinó y a mi niña también. Esto también es muy divertido porque ya estaba jugando a peinarla y me preguntó que si se tomaba toda la leche le crecieron el cabello como a su princesa, refiendose a la muñeca. Lo que pasa con esto es que no le gusta tomar leche y la persuadimos de que lo haga con el argumento de que la ayudará a que crezca su pelo. Si deseo es que si cabellera llegue hasta la cintura.

Bien mis estimados amigos, por último deseo comentarles que me pase una semana entera con este Amigurumi. Creo que debí hacerla más pequeña pero aún no se cómo trabajar en escalas más pequeña. Aún así lo disfruté al máximo, esto de tejer Amigurumi es toda una experiencia, aún tengo mucho que aprender y me toca improvisar y tratar de resolver los obstáculos que se me presentan en el camino ya que me falta mucha experiencia y soy algo ambiciosa con mis proyectos, creo que ese es el punto, debería empezar con cosas más simples, pero bueno a trompicones voy aprendiendo. Lo bueno es que disfrutó en el proceso y los avances los celebro un montón. Me despido hasta pronto.. Chao Chao.
