Aprovechando que recientemente estuvimos en temporada de girasoles y que creo todavía se pueden ver algunos, les comparto estas fotografías que realice en la temporada pasada del 2023, en un viaje que realice junto a mis amigos a la localidad de Turén, en el estado Portuguesa, Venezuela.
Cabe destacar que no soy fotógrafa profesional, solo soy una aficionada a capturar momentos, texturas y colores en mis viajes.
Taking advantage of the fact that we were recently in sunflower season and that I think you can still see some sunflowers, I share with you these photographs that I took last season 2023, on a trip I made with my friends to the town of Turén, in the state of Portuguesa, Venezuela.
It should be noted that I am not a professional photographer, I am just an amateur to capture moments, textures and colors in my travels.
En medio del campo / In the middle of the field
Cuando me entere por primera vez que aquí en Venezuela se podía viajar a un lugar donde iba a encontrar una cantidad absurda de girasoles inmediatamente quise ir allí. Sin embargo, no fue si no hasta nueve años después que pude lograr hacerlo.
When I first learned that here in Venezuela you could travel to a place where you could find an absurd amount of sunflowers I immediately wanted to go there. However, it wasn't until nine years later that I was able to do so.
Para poder lograrlo tuve que irme con un tour, ellos me llevaron hasta el lugar exacto donde se encontraba uno de los tantos terrenos donde han sembrado estas hermosas flores amarillas.
In order to achieve this I had to go on a tour, they took me to the exact place where one of the many plots of land where they have planted these beautiful yellow flowers was located.
Llegamos bien temprano y el cielo se veía gris, no había rayo de sol por ninguna parte. Esto es contraproducente si quieres ver unos girasoles con la flor bien derechita y en alto. Aun así, desde este punto yo ya me había enamorado de todas estas flores.
We arrived very early and the sky was gray, there was no sunshine anywhere. This is counterproductive if you want to see sunflowers with the flower straight and high up. Still, from this point on I had already fallen in love with all these flowers.
El contraste que ofrecía el gris nublado del cielo con el amarillo intenso de las flores me encanto y trate de hacer fotografías donde se pudiera apreciar eso.
The contrast offered by the cloudy gray of the sky with the intense yellow of the flowers enchanted me and I tried to take pictures where I could appreciate that.
Y hablando de contrastes, el hecho de tener una construcción metálica gigante allí al lado del campo le daba otra riqueza visual a las fotos.
And speaking of contrasts, the fact of having a giant metal construction there next to the field gave another visual richness to the photos.
Este es por mucho mi fotografía favorita, aunque los girasoles estén mirando para otro lado.
This is by far my favorite photograph, even if the sunflowers are looking the other way.
Aquí paseamos por todos los rincones de este campo, viendo los que estaban super amarillos y bonitos y otros ya secos que los tenían como en una especie de invernadero, esos son los que procesan para fabricar los productos derivados del girasol.
Here we walked through all the corners of this field, seeing the ones that were super yellow and beautiful and others that were already dry and had them in a kind of greenhouse, those are the ones that are processed to manufacture the products derived from sunflower.
De verdad que disfrute mucho de mi día en el campo de girasoles, eso si, después de las diez de la mañana mas o menos que ya había salido el sol fue insoportable el calor, así que como recomendación es bueno ir o muy tempranito o en el atardecer.
Aunque lo ideal para tomar fotos allí es aprovechar el sol intenso de mediodía, que el cielo también esta bien despejado y azul.
I really enjoyed my day in the sunflower field, however, after ten o'clock in the morning when the sun had already risen the heat was unbearable, so as a recommendation it is good to go either very early in the morning or at sunset.
Although the ideal way to take pictures there is to take advantage of the intense midday sun, the sky is also clear and blue.
Un tipo de fotografía que me encanta es la de los detalles, pues me gusta apreciar las texturas, colores y distintas líneas que puedan tener las formas, por eso en este tour hice mi mejor intento para tomar detalles de los girasoles pero el teléfono no me apoyo mucho con eso.
One type of photography that I love is detail photography, because I like to appreciate the textures, colors and different lines that shapes can have, so in this tour I did my best to take details of the sunflowers but the phone did not support me much with that.
Al final fui muy feliz con mi foto en medio del campo de girasoles, pude tachar de mi lista eso después de tantos años.
In the end I was very happy with my photo in the middle of the sunflower field, I was able to cross that off my list after so many years.
