Pero antes de encontrarnos yo pasé por una floristería en el centro de la isla para comprar una flor amarilla y regalarsela. Ya que puede que sea un día comercial para regalar flores yo decidí sorpresas a mi amiga y es que desde algún tiempo el 21 de septiembre se regalan flores amarillas, la tradición puede venir de una novela llamada floricienta, ya que a la protagonista llamada flor le regalaron muchas flores amarillas incluso hay una canción. También se puede deber al inicio de el equinoccio de primavera en el hemisferio sur y la gran viralidad que tuvo este día en las redes sociales. En fin no importa su origen yo quise que mi amiga se sintiera feliz con sus flores amarillas y yo también me compré una para mí.
Good evening, Lifestyle friends! Today I want to share that I took advantage of my best friend having the day off work to head to the mall with her. But before we met up, I stopped by a flower shop in the center of the island to buy a yellow flower to give her. While giving flowers might be seen as a commercialized gesture, I decided to surprise my friend because, for some time now, it has become a custom to give yellow flowers on September 21st. The tradition may stem from a show called Floricienta, where the protagonist named Flor received many yellow flowers (there is even a song about it). It could also be linked to the start of the spring equinox in the Southern Hemisphere and the day's massive viral popularity on social media. Anyway, regardless of the origin, I just wanted my friend to feel happy with her yellow flowers, and I bought one for myself, too.
Fui a la floristería dónde siempre voy, pero no tenían girasoles que era lo que quería comprar inicialmente. Pero estuve viendo unas rosas y decidí comprar una para mí y una para mí amiga. Salí de la floristería con las rosas y puedo decirles que si es un día muy comercial entorno a estas flores amarillas pues veía a muchas personas con ramo de rosas, ramos de girasoles y muchas flores amarillas. Mi amiga ya me estaba esperando en el centro comercial pues a ella la llevaron hasta allá y yo me fui en autobús.
I left the flower shop with the roses, and I can tell you that it is indeed a very commercial day centered around these yellow flowers; I saw many people carrying bouquets of roses, sunflowers, and lots of yellow blooms. My friend was already waiting for me at the mall, since she had been driven there while I took the bus.
Ella quedó sorprendida y esa era la idea, pues yo le había dicho que quería comprarle una flor amarilla pero no tenía dinero para comprarla. Pero justo me pagaron unas porciones de tortas y compré las rosas.
She was surprised, and that was the plan, since I had told her I wanted to buy her a yellow flower but didn't have the money for it. But then I got paid for some slices of cake, so I bought the roses.
