French Fries With Minced Meat, Tomato Sauce and Yogurt - Hive Top Chef

All the photos are my own.

Greetings! I saw that there was a "Hive Top Chef" competition and since I'm making potatoes tonight, I wanted to share the recipe for French Fries with Minced Meat, Gravy and Yogurt with you!
This is a very enjoyable and easy recipe that takes about 20 to 30 minutes to prepare. Everyone can make it!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes (one potato per person)
  • Onion (I used half of it)
  • One Clove of Garlic
  • Ground Beef (Minced Meat) (100gr per person, I used 300gr because we were 3 people)
  • Cooking Oil
  • Tomato Sauce (I have made homemade tomato sauce before. If you do not have this, you can easily make this sauce by grating the tomatoes in the meantime).
  • Spices of Your Preference. I used red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt.
  • Yogurt

Note: If you are a vegetarian, you can make this recipe without using minced meat as well!

Patatoes

First, of course, we peel the potatoes and cut them into the desired size for frying. I am a person who likes very thick potatoes, but since my friends prefer thin potatoes, I chopped them thin this time. If I was only making them for myself, I would probably leave them round and thick. Here, however you like fried potatoes, the choice is yours. This time I sliced it thin.

Onions

While cooking, I realized that I chopped too much onion. Half an onion was enough for 300 g minced meat. I ended up chopping a whole onion. Anyway, I will use it tomorrow. When chopping the onions, I recommend you to make sure that they are thin because they will be in the minced meat and it is preferable not to get too much in your mouth. If you are a person who likes big onions, of course you can chop them bigger. This recipe accepts both.

Ground Beef (Minced Meat)

While the potatoes were frying, I started shredding the minced meat so that I can control it more when I throw it in the pan, and I don't like it to fall apart on its own in the pan, because it's hard to understand where and how much it's cooked, but if I shred it like this and then throw it in the pan, then I can control how much it's cooked.

Spices!

As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, you can add spices of any spiciness you like. After adding the red pepper flakes and black pepper, I added the salt and continued cooking the meat.

Hot Tomato Sauce!

And in the last cooking step, I boiled the hot tomato sauce. This step was easy for me because it was something I had prepared beforehand. If your tomato sauce is not ready, I recommend you to prepare it first. So when you get to this stage, the rest of your ingredients will not have cooled down.

We put all the ingredients in your container in the way you want to serve them and after arranging them in a fancy way, we pour the cooked minced meat over the potatoes and the sauce over the minced meat. Last but not least, yogurt!

Thank you so much for reading! As you can see, it is a very simple, enjoyable and extremely delicious recipe! You can all make it. If you are vegetarian, just remove the minced meat. Even if the taste is not exactly the same, if you chop garlic into your yogurt, it will be very good.

Thank you very much for reading! This post was inspired by the '' Hive Top Chef: French Fries'! '' competition!
