Animals have a Soul

I think most of us have had a pet that we love at least once in our lives.
When I was little I had a dog named Star. He went everywhere with me and was my best friend.
I had a bit of a hard childhood and he was my rock. When I cried he was right there to lick my face.
Sometimes I wonder if dogs could be an Angel on Earth and have a passion to be there for us humans. A dog is the one animal that will love you more than they love themselves.

I have had many different types of pets. From rats and gold fish to horses and rabbits. It doesn't matter what type of animal it is, when I look into their eyes I see a soul..Not only pets but every living creature on Earth has a Soul. Dolphins are amazing and finally it has come to light just how smart they really are. Look at an elephant when they lose a family member they cry real tears. They mourn. There are many more examples.

I hope that they all get treated with the love and care they deserve and that people that are cruel to them aren't allowed to have them. Also that trophy hunting could never happen again. Even pigs, cows and chickens that are raised as food for us should be treated with care in their lives. If you are eating an animal that is depressed then I would think that might have an impact on us as well. Like the old saying that we are what we eat, these animals should not suffer up until slaughter time.

So for me the quotes I write in reguard to animals is a simple reminder of what I think an animal would say if they could talk to us..
