So the New Year and Christmas holidays are over. The last day ends today. I have to go to work at the office tomorrow. The end of these holidays in our family was overshadowed by the health of my mother. On the night of January 6-7, we took my mother to the hospital for treatment. On December 31, she turned 82 and it seemed that nothing was threatening her health.
On January 7 and 8, my wife and I went to the hospital to give various items to my mother. And then we walked through the children's park and along the city embankment by the Vyatka River. Everything would be fine, but outside these days the air temperature is about -30 degrees. Today, the north wind has also intensified, which very much burned the face with cold. In this weather, you need to dress like cabbage - several different jackets and pants.









During our walk, the Sun periodically shone brightly or hid in a frosty haze. The winter sun does not rise high above the horizon, so it behaves this way during frost.





















We decided that we would not go to the end of the embankment. Or is this the beginning of it? It is better to walk in a small circle, so as not to go against the wind for a long time. But as a result, today's walk still did not turn out to be long in time. Yesterday, my wife decided not to wear warm sports pants and her feet froze.
Today, my wife put on warm pants, but still the wind froze her face. Our walk lasted no more than 20 minutes. Today I didn't walk my 10 thousand steps.



This is a weather vane on the roof of the house. It turns and shows the direction of the wind. Weather vanes are very rare in our city.









That's the end of the walk. After the walk, we stayed at home. It's nice to feel that it's cold outside and warm at home. I watched the birds at the feeder outside my window, saw how the wind ruffled the feathers on the back of bullfinches.
