Hello, friends.

My house is almost in a dense forest. When I built the house, the nearest trees were 300 meters away from the house. Now the pines are growing right behind my plot of land.
Every day a crow comes to my plot. She's been flying in for a few years now. Sometimes there are 2 of them, but most often one. I suspect that such birds have their own rights to the food production zone. I.e., a foreign crow will not fly to my plot of land, because it belongs to a particular crow.
Last year, she taught the crows, her children, to steal food from my dog. They came from different directions and the dog did not know who to jump on. While she was jumping on one crow, another crow could fly up to the food bowl and steal a piece of porridge.

My wife told me that. She'd seen it several times. And I saw a crow playing with a cat. She was sitting on a neighbor's wooden fence. The cat jumped on the fence and began to walk carefully and quietly in her direction. When he got very close to her, then the crow flew over him and sat down behind him. The cat turned and walked back to the crow. The crow flew back to its original place. This was done 10 times. I even laughed at what I saw.

Crows are very intelligent birds. They have long lived near a person and adopt many of his habits, learn from him to get food for themselves. You can find a lot of information about this.
Crows can even imitate human speech.

Today, after a walk with the dog, I gave her something to eat, and went to feed the rabbits myself. The dog ate all the food and lay down in the shade. A month ago, she had an operation, her uterus was removed with a cancerous tumor and now she is just beginning to recover. The crow immediately flew to the dog's bowl. Although it was empty, there were crumbs of food around the bowl. The dog barely reacted to the bird.

A few days ago, I was bandaging a dog, washing its wound, and left a large piece of bread on the table, which was behind me two meters away. I heard a noise behind me and turned around. It turns out that the crow stole this piece of bread. And it was quite large in size and weight.

My wife calls this crow - "our crow". But in winter it does not arrive. A magpie flew in regularly this winter. Now the magpie is gone. Now the crow is the mistress here.
