Greetings, friends
Friday!. Can I say a banal thing? Autumn began and she brought mushrooms. An interesting point is that back in August I wrote that I was walking through the forest and did not see mushrooms, and suddenly on September 5 I entered the forest and immediately stumbled over a mushroom. No, I said it figuratively, I didn't kick the mushroom, I saw it right away..

alt

This is the handsome guy. I saw him on Saturday morning, and on Sunday morning I saw that he had lost his hat. I thought someone had kicked him. But... In that case, he should have broken, but his leg was still in place!

alt

What happened? Maybe someone ate that hat? By the way, what kind of mushroom is this?

Coprinus Comatus - shaggy ink cap or shaggy mane.
Can I eat it? There is such a joke - you can eat any mushrooms 1 time, because you can get poisoned by them.
The Internet, Alisa AI told me, the mushroom can be described as conditionally edible: if the rules are followed, it is quite suitable for food, and if they are violated, there is a risk of problems.
Here are the main rules to consider:

  • Only young mushrooms.
  • Fast recycling. After harvesting, you have only 1-2 hours to cook the mushroom.
  • Heat treatment. Be sure to boil it for 10-15 minutes.
Alcohol. It is widely believed that white manure cannot be combined with alcohol.
  • It should not be mixed with other mushrooms. There is a recommendation not to combine dung beetles with other mushrooms in one dish.

But I say, it's better not to eat it!

Here are some more interesting mushrooms. Their shape seemed strange to me.

Geastrum Fimbriatum - fringed earthstar or fimbriated earthstar.

Alisa AI:

This is a saprotrophe: the fungus feeds on decomposing organic remains. It grows on the soil — in coniferous (often pine) forests, less often in deciduous, very rarely in open areas. Prefers moist, shaded areas with abundant leaf litter and moss cover. It bears fruit from June to October. It occurs singly or in small groups, often near the stumps of deciduous trees.

The range is very wide — the mushroom is cosmopolitan. It can be found in Eurasia, North and South America, Africa, Australia and Oceania. In Russia, it is distributed from the dark coniferous taiga to the steppe zone (in the European part, the Caucasus, Siberia and the Far East)

alt

Opinions differ about the edibility, but in its young form it is written that it can be eaten even without heat treatment. But it doesn't have any taste. Maybe in the stage of great hunger, if you get lost in the forest, you can eat it, but... You better not eat it!

This is the first time I've seen this mushroom.

The day was really rich in harvest. There were some small gray mushrooms all around me at every step. But I think that will be another story.

No! We don't eat that. Not a single mushroom was damaged during the shooting.
