The house was the biggest attraction of the whole Alumbrado. It was a mega children's construction with all the details of the magical house from the movie, it was a perfect work of art. When we passed to the other side was the main facade that looked like a hallucination that sparkled with all those oversized lights and decorations. It looked like a magical place, living up to the movie.
So after having had some fantastic views of the whole campus from the terrace on the top floor of the Library building, we went down and continued the tour through the Plaza Cubierta. An ample covered space where art is integrated with architecture as in the rest of the University City. A place full of color that plays with the natural light and shadows and where many of the works that belong to the Sintesis de Artes Mayores of the UCV are located.
The restaurant has two rooms. One of them has an interesting roof, as if it was made of bamboo or reeds. Such a design reminds me of holiday, exotic atmospheres. In this room, many seats have comfortable, soft backrests at the back. On the wall there is a painting with a ship sailing on the sea and the inscription Santorini, as well as many framed photos referring to the island of Santorini. Some of the tables are made of wood, while others have colorful tiles on the top.
