I have an interesting thing lately, finding a suitable place for me to work instead of home. Yes, there is a coffee shop that just opened near my house, really very close, you could even say this coffee shop is my neighbour. Interesting to discuss, right?
I think the location of my house is a very strategic place in the city of Medan. Indeed, since we moved from my house in Tanjung Anom to my in-laws' house, we are very close to the city center. My parents-in-law's house is in a strategic location in the city of Medan, even the selling price of the land around it is very expensive, even overpriced.
Not far from the city center, only has a relatively short travel time, is not affected by flooding, the atmosphere is very comfortable, and most importantly the pillars of the community that cannot be assessed, this is the most appropriate location in the city of Medan, so that not a few business owners make This location is the target for building a commercial area. Such as making a place of entertainment, doorsmeer, even a coffee shop.
The location of our house is indeed in great demand by many people, because it is easy to go anywhere. Even along the road near my house there are lots of cafes, restaurants and entertainment venues, even though it's on a fairly dense street filled with many houses, maybe that's its charm.

This coffee shop just opening about 2 week ago, I was sure from the start of the construction that the house would be built as a coffee shop. So, before this coffee shop existed, this building used to be a fairly large house, but the owner no longer lives in that house, maybe this house is an inherited house. Then, two months ago, this house began to be renovated and turned into a coffee shop with a 'feels like home' concept.
So, out of curiosity, I went right away when they had a soft opening, but it wasn't that busy, maybe because it was included in the new coffee shop category. With a minimalist concept, they created an incredibly comfortable coffee shop. I feel really very comfortable in it, maybe because the atmosphere and this area is really very familiar to me.

It's hard for me to explain the location of this coffee shop, because I'm afraid the privacy of where I live will be exposed LOL. Sure enough, nowadays privacy is very expensive, so if you are looking for a location, you can look for it on social media. The problem is that this coffee shop only takes 30 seconds to walk from the house where I live, I even came in my pajamas to enjoy coffee there.
This coffee shop has a strong black and white concept, called Monochrome. From the outside it is designed with curves, like looking at uvo. With some pebbles in front of the door, then the main glass door. Oh, this coffee shop has an open concept, all partitions are only separated by glass, so indoor is only for non-smoking customers, so if you want to chill with a cigarette, you have to sit outside.
Entering the coffee shop, first is the barista bar table which is quite wide, here they prepare all orders except food, the dirty kitchen is behind the coffee shop. The indoor is full of dark gray sofas and chairs made of dark brown iron and wood. Almost like an industrial concept, but no, it's more minimalist.
Outdoors is also no less interesting, even though you don't use air conditioning, there is quite a lot of air and wind here, because the open room is still given several very large air gaps, but there is enough privacy from outside the building. So that it is not visible from people's houses, so it is enough to enjoy being outdoors.
Likewise with the exterior, there are a number of interesting displays in several wall spots, such as a map of Indonesia made with coffee beans pasted on in such a way, which is quite unique and makes us think that it is not easy to stick the coffee beans one by one on the wall. The one who made this coffee map of Indonesia must have been very patient and thorough.
Not only that, there are also some writings on the walls but not the murals, which say 'team work'. It seems that this place is devoted to coffee shops for free wifi seekers like me, who are used for work, called work from café?
That's why I call this coffee shop my second place to work besides at home, I like the atmosphere and the place is very comfortable, I can even work very long in this coffee shop, with 2 or 3 cups of coffee.
